- From the infamous Kurhaus concert which ended in a riot. Mick lost his microphone earlier in the show, so he instead plays the harmonica here, creating an interesting if plodding instrumental version of Hi Heel Sneakers.
A great audience recording for the era courtesy of Willem van Kooten from the side of the stage.

Due to where the person with the mic was standing at this point of the concert, this is essentially a live 'isolation' of Brian's guitar playing, with Keith's lead playing being mostly way down in volume.
I noticed this as well but didn’t think to mention it. I wish Mona could have been played in full here because the performance we get is killer.

Love this song!! I have a copy of The Rolling Stones On Air (BBC Recordings) and recommend that any fan get a copy!!
On Air is a great compilation indeed, but there are so many more BBC recordings they could have included, making it more akin to the Beatles BBC albums.
