Atmel Studio_ICE Failed to enter programming mode

Awesome video. I learnt many facts from this video. Keep on making such knowledefull vids. I request you to make a video to program the lock bits so that no one could copy the codes. Also show that what results we get if we try to read/copy the code after the microcontroller has been locked (to ensure code safety).

But I clicked 'Start without Debug', it give me a notice that is the same as you clicked 'fuse'. As I cannot start debug, what should I do?

I'm stuck on this myself - but I am NOT able to get back online to turn off debugWIRE.
Whenever I plug the Atmel-Ice into my controller, it will halt the current program - which causes the device to become unresponsive ( giving error 4109 )

Sir in device signature it is showing 0xFFFF means and not able to read and program device

You are right Rajan. If the device signature is wron no programming is possible. there is a hardware issue, and from following my students it allways falls back to wiring errors. If you happen to have an arduino you might try to connect to that to check that the socket from the ICE is ok.

You are so right! It is a complex systemso you need to be systemmatic whentrying to find the error(s). I posted the video because the error found here is frequently seen among my students.

I found the problem. I have adjusted the LOCKBITS by using a TTL converter and the Atmel Ice at the same time. With the Ateml i was able to fix this error😊

I keep getting this warning. isp on atmel ice does not support debugging. How do I fix this. I would really appreciate your help. Thank you
