You have the best explanation. No clockwise no counter clockwise. Air blowing down on you in the summer,. Air pulling up from you in the winter. Simple, excellent, thank you !
This helped my cat be a Tiger! What a Wonderful phrase.
So , counter clock wise is for Summer ?
Easy logic - your blades supposed to push air down so it's all about how your blades set !!! Don't go by clockwise or counterclockwise rule!!!!!!! In winter time, blades have to move air in the reverse, in a way where it's actually cutting air - sharp edge of the blade moving though air. ! That will pick air up and blow on the ceiling, stick your hands between moving blades in ceiling you will definitely feel it. In summer just oposit!!
My ceiling fan is remote controlled and has no strings. I also do not see a switch on the fan but it is blowing air up towards the ceiling, in the summer time.. Can’t figure it out.
Help, it’s hot! 🥵
search for a video with your brand, your remote... what did you get ?
Lifting the air upward cools the ceiling panels and stops the infra red
heat from overpowering the air conditioning. The other reason to lift
upward has to do with freshness and airborne poisons, which are
dissipated instead of concentrated. Six percent saving on heating by lifting, but TWENTY SIX percent savings from lifting while cooling. The gains in freshness remain year-round.
All the circulaters should lift. One fan can un-do three, and this includes other rooms and even other floors in the same building!

Very good.
Nope. The key operative: ALWAYS have fan blowing DOWN, all seasons. For some fans this is CW, others CCW. But DOWN does the trick. Winter warm air with the fan blowing UP won't mix into the occupied area of the room because the entry side of the fan operates at a relatively low velocity, and low velocity does not penetrate very far.
Doesn’t make any sense maybe you could have showed what you do with the switch. Put it down or up. While doing it with your camera.
If we have a fan and if you can use the remote to change the direction, do you spin it or use the control on the remote?
Thank you!
You're welcome
Thank you, now how do you use just the fan and not the ligth,? 😂

Didn’t even show the switch to know which direction to put it in 🤬
I use my bedroom ceiling all year along. It's my first ceiling fan to use at home in my own home as a single man without kids.I live in an one bedroom apartment in a duplex apartment. What direction do you think ceiling fans should spin in the spring and fall and why?
I know that but what about the other 2 seasons.I live in Wisconsin. There 4 seasons here. That's why I'm asking about it.
clockwise for fall and winter
counter for summer and spring
My fan got mind its own
Huh? Sound! Where's the sound?
What way is that!?! This doesn't make any sense.
