Really nice interview, I am currently trying coaching from Dylan and pretty much all the things he said on here are what he says to me haha. I think it’s great that he’s giving so much information to other cubers, as not many WC cubers put in the time for that.

Also wide U moves and pseudoslotting are really useful for top solving

I ve just started to improve my lookahead and by no means im a top cuber , or close to it rn , but I actually started to predict some pieces which makes my solving smoother. I cant follow them for some reason, just predict and on a good day I finish f2l 8-10 seconds

The 1 thing I see is that a lot of them forget that speed is a naturally progressing thing and spamming tps is bad especially when learning to look ahead. I remember seeing sub 30+ cubers in solve critiques on Discord and a lot of people tell them to "turn faster" as their only piece of advice. This is bad because it's like when learning piano and going way too fast is just going to make you mess up more often (and create bad habits) and not build any technique.

Hey, I had 1 doubt about the f2l look ahead thingy
I struggle with f2l look ahead in my solves sometimes and it’s very inconsistent. I’m almost sub 7 and avg like 7.1
I don’t know how the pieces move but if u tell me to close my eyes and do as many pairs as I can I can do like 3-4. While predicting I just see how they are effected by every move but I can do it quite fast. Should I continue with this or start learning how each move effects the cube.
Great vid kad! I hope you can get Dylan to answer this one question for me

Color neutrality is the last frontier. Less than 20 moves per solve. 😊
