If im lucky enough to see a BIGFOOT LOOKING THING and it is definately NOT A BEAR, i will chase it until i cant anymore and i dont understand why other people dont give chase to them. If it hurts you, youve still proven that it is real. But dont go chase a bear into the woods, that may end really badly.

Trespassing in my forest, which is my home. Living in a cabin build in my forest, which they didn't even get permission to build or at least offer to pay for the land it's built on or anything. And shooting my deer, which is my food.

When I was a child we had a family cabin in the Utah mountains and my Grandmother would tell us she seen him, but my mother said she's crazy. But I have never seen him, my Grandmother was very serious about not letting us wonder around the forest, because of him. Be safe out there people you never know who, or what could be out there.
Your grandmother was absolutely correct to be concerned about the woods. These creatures are everywhere. Mostly peaceful but they have their bad days.
Unfortunately I can vouch for your Grandmother. It’s hard to believe and they are NOT ape anything. It’s much more human. Face looks like a Neanderthal. Another truth our lovely government keeps from us.😜🙄

I didn't see it, but we had one outside our cabin in Canada. It was angry and banging on the side and door if the cabin. It grunted, growled, and breathed so heavily we could hear it through the walls. It even tried the door knobs which was locked. I've never felt the same in the woods again, even in daylight
I live in WA. I and my mom had an experience with something we both can’t explain. We were camping in the colville national forest, after it got dark we both got a really odd feeling and kept hearing something circling our camp site. At that point we hadn’t started a fire, so we got into our van and started playing cards. Next thing we know our van got hit so hard it knocked pans off the counters. We looked at each other and started grabbing our stuff and looking for the shotgun shells. Before we could load the gun it happened again. The second time was harder and I swear the windows should have broken. At that point my mom got behind the wheel while I stood guard in the passenger seat. I still go back to the national forest, I do avoid the hundred mile area that we camped in that night however. From that night IV had a more open mind.

I had an “encounter” with big foot, I was in Boy Scouts on a camp out with my troop. Our campsite was near a few dumpsters, one night we could here banging coming from around that area, in the morning we found the dumpster, without its roof. There was a path of pine trees that had been torn down behind it. Some people thought it was a bear so, they put down a bear trap. In the morning the bear trap was upside down. Some of the buildings nearby reported caved in roofs, broken windows and paths of fallen trees.

When I was about 19, I was traveling on the California Riding and Hiking trail back in mid 1960s, when I spotted what I thought was a shaggy clothed human. I've met hermits before in my travels that sometimes cover themselves with patches of homemade clothing made out of furs and bits of clothe so I assumed that's what I was seeing. I tried to get closer so we could talk except no matter how fast I urged my horse I couldn't get close enough. He always maintained a set distance from me of about two or three blocks.
It was hilly country and on both sides of the trail were really tough trees. I believe they were called Manzanitas? The trail had been cut out between them so it was almost impossible to take a different route away from the trail which wound up and down through the terrain. At one point the person stopped on a rise of ground and looked back. His face was hairy which I thought was just a very gruff beard. I waived at him and urged my horse forward. The man had to hunch down to clear one of the branches of a tree, then he grabbed it with one hand looking over the top of the branch. He then turned and disappeared over the hill.When I got to the same spot I easily cleared the same branch which was a good 1 & 1/2 foot over my head & I was on horseback. I realized, that what I thought was a man had to be something else. Bigfoot? Who knows. I never got close enough for a decent look and after seeing how big it really was I wasn't in as much of a hurry to find out!

Bigfoot is fascinating, on one hand, his “just leave me alone” attitude is very similar to gorilla’s, they’d much rather just scare you away then actually hurt you, but on the other hand, they shouldn’t be able to throw things well, humans are the only apes that can actually “throw” other apes just lob things with low velocity and very low distance, so it would have to be some strange mix of apes to get to where it seems to be evolutionarily

I wouldn't doubt if a Bigfoot like creature exists, but I doubt Bigfoot itself exist. There is a extinct primate called Gigantopithecus, that died out as recently as 100,000 years ago so who knows.

On 60 minutes, I remember an episode where people would go missing in a certain geographic location deep in the woods. I can't remember where this is, but I believe it could be Bigfoot that's frustrated with people invading his territory.

A very unassuming friend of mine in my college days claimed to have seen a Sasquatch while on a hike with his girlfriend at the time. He was one of the quietest and shiest men I have ever known. I knew his ex girlfriend too. A mutual friend of ours told me to ask him about the encounter, so I did. Well he was not happy that I was told about it. It was obvious he didn't like relating the story because no one believed him. But he told me what happened. The story was strange and impressive.
A few weeks later I saw Tiffany (his ex). She was shocked Barry told me the story and said they had agreed to not tell anyone else. I begged her to just tell me what she remembers and she related almost the exact same story with a few minor details added or slightly different.... which is exactly what real eyewitnesses to the same event tend to do. If they parrot each other exactly, it could be a planned hoax or a lie. But both of them seemed super genuine and displayed very real emotions of shock and fear. And they both were insistent that this was no case of mistaken identity or someone playing a joke. They saw this thing shortly before sunset less than 15 yards away, describing it as at least 8 foot tall (Barry's words, with Tiffany agreeing when asked) and massive.
If it had been almost anyone else I would have doubted what I heard. But this guy was just not your typical teller of tall tales. And his account was corroborated by another person with whom he was no longer in a relationship with. I was not a Bigfoot believer.... but I was so impressed with their testimony I began to have interest in the subject. And to this day I still love looking at the possibility of Sasquatch being a very real animal.
I used to think it was BS too. I've never been more terrified in my whole life.

@@maybezknot7833 that's exactly how I feel about it too, except mine started when I was a child, I just didn't realize that was what it was. Too much to type and too crazy for people's cognitive dissonance to wrap their pre-conditioned brains around. I don't have the energy to debate my own experiences and encounters with strangers online who have their heads so far in the sand and are too ignorant to research the subject for themselves. It's exhausting to even consider sharing it.
Being from the NW, it was normal back in the day for loggers to see sasquatch. So much so that no one ever really thought anything of it until the sisghtings became more rare and people began to not believe them.
The Aussie version is a Yowie like "owie" that hurt, not "yo" like hello.

The interesting thing about this to me is this....It happened on mt. St. Helens. After the eruption of Mt. St. Helens, many teams of people went up on that mountain to clear out all of the dead animals as they were littering the forest area. There was more than one National Guardsman who came forward and said that the US Army pulled at least 6 dead sasquatches off of that Mountain.

I've heard detailed encounters of what you're speaking of and though there are people trying to shut this down, I'm not so quick to dismiss this. The details relayed were not so far-fetched and the witnesses sounded very credible.

In the case of the first 'attack' shown here. Were there not tracks of some kind near where the skier took off in panic? If they could see his ski tracks they must have been able to see some other tracks in the snow.

They exist! When i was a kid in the Philippines playing on the beach i wandered off along the shore till i was far from people. It was basically the ocean on my left and thick jungle on my right. I saw huge footprints coming out of the water leading straight to the jungle. I put my foot inside the footprint and it was warm still. The footprint was about 2.5 feet long and 1 feet wide. I ran back to the beach house and brought my friends and brothers to check it out and we were all amazed. Back then i didnt know anything about bigfoot or its existence but remembering this experience when i was a kid sure makes me believe it exists!

It’s very possible this creature exists. There still so much we don’t know about the world and this creature is smart. It’s entirely possible it’s been avoiding discovery even if there’s 1000 of them out there. Imagine you spent your whole life living in a forest, your gonna know how to hide. My family owns land about 15 miles from Honobia in Oklahoma. The Bigfoot culture is deeply engrained in the community, they have a Bigfoot festival every October. But I’ve never seen anything close to a Bigfoot, closest thing is the occasional bear.
I'm convinced that Godzilla and Bigfoot really just need a hug.

My brother in law is big and hairy. The main difference between is I actually have pictures of him from multiple family gatherings. The pictures are detailed enough (8Mp) to be undeniable.

One terrified my 1st wife and i for months after we moved a trailer into a pasture field.. i wondered if it was sleeping in a building beside my trailer because it would run my dogs out of it and they would hide under the trailer and it would pound the walls. For hours.. lights wouldn't run it off. It was terrifying.. i couldnt get a shot without opening the door and i would be shooting toward the neighbors houses on the farm across the field. It wemt on for months the ceased after i tore the building down after a few weeks.

My brother and I had three very strange encounters in the Buffalo pits of Colorado. We heard vocalizations, footsteps, had rocks and pebbles thrown at us, and we saw something huge walking in the tree line.
That sounds like an encounter with Bigfoot (as the late John Bindernagel would say).

these same scientist told sailors that reported seeing 60ft waves just appear from nowhere[rogue waves] it was impossible and a 60ft wave is a 1 in a 1000year event yet some sailors had seen a dozen, these sailors during a meeting were called every name and even threatened with arrest and their boats confiscated for causing panic etc, then in 1970s in the north sea CCTV were attached to all the drilling platforms, and what did they see,over 30 in the first year,and you know what those scientists tried saying at first this was a new phenomina till even they were laughed at by the rest of the world

Where i used to live we have railroad tracks that are surrounded by deep forest- Recently i got a plan back and me and my old friends started to look through the tracks- I scouted 30 minutes ahead one day and i felt something watching me, And heard cruntching in the woods.
I was scared enough by the noises that i ended up making a spear i take along with us everyday we go out
1st one - ran into a bear and had to go down a steep cliff to escape but couldn’t slow down
3rd one - definitely a bear, that’s all.
