What this balloon mode?
It's a race mode in this Rom Hack. Like in Battle mode each player starts with 3 balloons, and if a player loses all their balloons then they are knocked out of the race.
As an unlockable you can adjust how many balloons players start with. You can set it to 10 in you so choose.

It should work with most. I think some cell phone based ones may have problems.
