- In 2011, Moose Baby performed a sold out show at the Cheers Chalet in Lancaster, Ohio. During the show, the band performed a song that gets great reception every time they play it--Chuck Berry's "Johnny B. Goode." Enjoy all of the Duckwalking fun during the solo with some of rock's most recognizable guitar riffs.

I first turned this video on and thought 'Christ he even sounds like Chuck!' and then the guitar solo happened and I just sat and laughed! This is by far the best cover I've ever seen of this, proud to say I've watched three times in a row now!

I love this cover. I remember watching it years ago and for some reason just come back to it today. Love it. The crowd is absolutely dead (some probably are now) and this frontman drags it out of them. Awesome moves and showmanship. For those on the comments saying they should have turned it up and gone crazy havent read the room. Spot on.

I think Chuck would be proud of this musician/singer.. he did a good job of Johnny B Goode .. great dancing moves .. I've seen Chuck Berry live 2 times and there is no comparisons, but he did a great job!!

Hey, thank you! To say you haven't heard someone play Chuck so accurately before was quite the compliment. I actually had someone just the other day ask me to make a tutorial of our version of Johnny B. I'll try to make one shortly. I know what you mean about the riff with the drums, as I couldn't figure it out either. I'd heard it on his London Sessions album and on the BBC concert. I finally figured it out watching the film Let the Good Times Roll. It's actually quite simple. I'll be sure to add that to the tutorial. Thanks again!

high energy, reminds me of Jimmy Page when i saw led zeppelin in '75, he had around 75 feet of jack cord & moved like Chuck Berry across rhe stage for almost 2 hours. his Les Paul was hanging to his knee. keep it up
