Your opening lines are spot on. As a Forest fan I’m absolutely delighted to be away from relegation. I’m not deluded though we don’t really score enough, never have since we got promoted so realistically we are mid table. However that said, Nuno is building a good “team” the whole squad contribute, and he brings new signings in at the right pace. It’s great to be a Forest fan since Cooper joined us really, just a continued steady improvement. The owner is definitely our driving force, the difference between his leadership and the Kuwaiti’s is stark. He’s got the right people in the right places and demands results for his investment. Marinakis has turned this club around.
Yeah it's good to see positive momentum and a talented young team making progress. Credit to Cooper for laying the foundations, but Nuno has to be praised for persisting through difficulty.
As a Forest fan,we knew at the beginning of the season that we would do ok because of pre season and the players we signed, pundits etc, didnt do their homwork on us,i imagine youre all waiting for us to fold,it wont happen
And our defensive data was actually pretty good under Nuno last season, only City, Arsenal and Liverpool had a better xgc than us, it was just our inability to defend set pieces that was costing us, as well as a few ref/var decisions...
We don't think they'll fold on this podcast! We always assumed it was a matter of time before it came together. A top 10 finish would be incredible this season
Hi guy's Steve from Thailand here good podcast, first time watching I will subscribe, forest man and boy and I will eat as much humble pie that you can feed me as long as Nuno keeps doing what he's doing coyr
Nuno looked really unhappy in interviews last season, and Forest were extremely lucky to stay up. What an incredible turnaround since then! Now he looks happy, and it feels like HIS team and everything is going very smoothly at the moment. Ryan Yates just keeps getting better to match Forest, we wouldn't be the same without him.
I thought that the way he said it, like we are a club who just come up from league 1 and no trophies or history at all, Forest still the 10th most successful club in the country and been out the top flight for 23 years lol plus Chelsea and Man Shitty were nowhere near Forest before the dirty oil money turned up..if Forest had a 60k seater stadium it's THEM who should be classed as a big 6
@@FootballDiaryPodcast nah, I get it. I was deeply worried & depressed by February / March. We did get ridiculously harsh stick over our transfers, but people clearly didn't understand the instability of our squad in 2022. Fawaz was a disaster. Stability is our most important goal.
@@BarneysArmy82 the stadium issue is huge. 28k is a disastrous capacity. But hey, as long as Marianakos' spitting incident draws more ire than Man City's cheating, that's fine with me...

Some of those refereeing decisions were shocking!

Appreciate the sub thanks! Onwards and upwards for Nuno
Just a note Morgan Gibbs-White is currently injured so wasn't available for this game.
I love hearing people talk about Forest so positively feels so good for a change. COYR

It felt like a matter of time before it came together. Nuno has weathered the storm really well and he's reading the rewards now
Yes, Nottingham Forest who have won the European Cup twice and had Sir Brian Clough! Massive!!
Waddayamean "flippin Forest"?? We had this coming a long time
No disrespect at all! If you look back at some of our other Forest clips, we've always been positive about them on the pod!
