    So nice to see the shop that produced the many, many parts that I spec’d in during my career in electrohydraulic servo actuators. For 40 years now, Lee has been a superior supplier!

    NYC CNC has done some of the best machine shop tours on UA-cam, you can see how selective he was to find unique facilities/companies by watching his videos, now you are on the path of beating him on that, another great tour and amazing facility.

      I’m sure it’s not on the cheap end, but when you’re doing components that need to be right for safety’s sake, I’m sure the tooling pays for itself in spades!

    The hydrogen furnace..
    These must be some mixing of hydrogen and nitrogen at the curtain..
    Sooo there'll be spent hydrogen / nitrogen mix at 2,000 F..
    Now that's a fun thing to deal with, is it burnt to heat the process?

    • @JCDJCD13
      @JCDJCD13 8 місяців тому +2

      Yes a small amount of hydrogen does exit the process mixed with the nitrogen. The nitrogen then passes through a flame to burn off the excess hydrogen before it’s released into the atmosphere. It’s not used to add heat to the chamber, the chamber is heated with electric coils temperature controlled electronically.

    • @JCDJCD13
      @JCDJCD13 8 місяців тому +2

      For some we use a wire mesh, for some we use a photo etched material, some are mechanically drilled, but most are made with Lasers. The specifics are a trade secret. Sorry….
