I love my animals I'm looking to get one more bird later on this year a Hahn's macaw but am looking for a re-home but not the easiest of birds to source and there seem to be so many scams around these parrots.
Im looking at getting a pair of conures. I know you prefer to keep yours in pairs. But would you recommend me buying two babies at once or getting one then getting another later on? Do you think it would be easier to bond them if they’re siblings?
I wouldn’t recommend any parrot for children - they’re complex animals and live for a very long time! Lots of things will change for a child as they grow up including how much time they would actually have for a bird - it’s better to wait until they’re grown up unless another adult plans to take full responsibility for the bird!
Hi, i want to rehome a 4 years old conure from Craigslist, the owned is old lady and told me he's always been in cage with 3 other birds may i ask how dificult to tame him to be playful and more comfortable outside the cage
@@BirdNerdSophie true, I have rescued ringneck and it took me months to make him less scared from fingers. Don’t know if conures are as moody and aggressive as ringnecks cos mine used to bite hard still does hate strangers

All my 10 birds fight over food and just in general some of them doesn't like to fight but for some reason if they eat to close etc they start fighting, I don't try to tell them off as I know that it's not good to do that, I have though realised that when They see me they fight a lot more and it becomes very serious that I have to stop them before one of them get's hurt.. @@BirdNerdSophie

Every bird is an individual so there’s no set time frame or difficulty level for bonding with them!

You are more than welcome to ask questions! 😊 I have an example of a fine mister spray in my Amazon store and I use room temperature water in it 😊
