I am I've been in therapy for years and I have now started with internal family systems therapy. Google it but it is very different from normal talk therapy. Also DBT therapy works well for borderlines. I hope your family member is getting the support he or she needs. BPD is so painful

Great podcast! Ms. Brittany place a very warm wet washcloth on the affected eye area as many times a day as you can. The sty will slowly go away. Rinse the cloth afterwards and change and wash your pillowcases. Good luck and stay you.

I know this varies from State to State but in NJ there is a "change of circumstance" for child custody and child support. I am not sure what State your friend is in, BFL, but maybe that might apply to your friend so she can get the money she's due. I believe this can be done annually in NJ *or* if you are aware of that change in circumstance. I know people with wealth can hide money (which is why they are wealthy...LOLO) but that's just a sad shame for her. I hate seeing that system being abused on either side.

Ok, so I have 2 daughters (7&5) and whenever I’ve had to explain death to them, I always say we go to the stars (become energy in the universe) and my 7 year old always says that when she was in the stars she didn’t like her mummy there and so she chose to come and be with me 😭 so this episode is blowing my mind 🤯

I’m so curious Brittany, how did you get ready for work? Could you take clothes/makeup/curling irons to the jail or would you have to drive home before work every morning to get ready??
That's not necessarily true about child support either! Most states it goes by the income. I know people who weren't ever married that the dad pays close to 1000 a month (if he has a good job) and sometimes the mom can end up paying the father if she makes more money!
