My wife had the Z Flip 3, and I had the Z Flip 4, and we both upgraded to the Z Flip 5. Amazing technology. Foldables have more moving parts than other phones, but we have not had any issues. I find I use the outer display about 70% of the time for emails, messages, WhatsApp, Uber and other useful apps. I disagree about One UI. I have always found iOS more complicated and difficult to customise to my preferences. One UI is far more flexible and but may appear more complicated at first for new users at first glance since there are so many options that are provided.
Also got one but in yellow. Was initially planning to use it alongside the upcoming 15 pro but, after using it for awhile, I might stick to just using the Z Flip 5 on its own since it is really capable.
Exactly the same for me! Ive been waiting for the 15 pro max forever bc it'll finally have usb-c but now that I have the Flip5 I think I'll just use it as my main phone bc it's so fun to use and I'm really bored with iPhone. I highly doubt the 15 will be much different
@@ljacobs357 while I agree that Apple usually lacks innovation when it comes to their year-to-year updates, we cannot deny that they offer products that works perfectly as they intended. That's why they are preferred by people who just wants a phone that does what it promised to do. No bells and whistles. No experimental tech. Also, when they include innovative features they tend to be industry-defining and renovating. Just look face ID, swipe-gesture navigation, airpods, etc. Even the Z Flip 5 that I'm using now utilizes some aspect of the dynamic island from the iPhone 14 pro line.
I can assure you, the Samsung ecosystem is equal to Apple, while their tablets and phones are far more flexible and can be customized to your needs. Coming from an ex-Apple user.
The reason the clock moves by the way is to prevent burn-in. They're not going to change that, its deliberate. Pixel shifting for static elements is common for OLEDs.

I switched from the iPhone 14 pro max to this phone and as much as I love Apple I absolutely love this phone only issue is the battery life it sucks
I don't see a huge difference in camera quality but I think both of the z flip 5 and the iPhone 14 pro are both amazing phones. 🤩

Apple basically comes with the same phone every year, even using the same "amazing" ad.
