I think this is my favorite of your last few projects! And I like that you kept the collar. I wasn't sure but when you tried it on, but the tailored collar tones down the "poofy" sleeves and peplum and gives it a more sophisticated look. Thanks for sharing your wonderful work.
Thank you. I like the collar too. 😊
This blouse is sooo dang cute! Great job. I'm glad you kept the collar and the pleats with the buttons on the sleeves is an awesome touch. Thank you for sharing.
Thank you 😊
❤ I love how you marked the darts. You have inspired me to take a lightweight quilted jacket that’s too big, then resize and convert it to one with a peplum bottom. Thank you so much for this video. I’ll take a look at other videos you have posted for further ideas. 😊
Thank you! I wish we could share photos on this format and share projects. I’d love to see how the jacket turns out.
What. Lovely top. Makes me want to try this on one of my husbands dress shirts that he doesn’t wear. If I screw up, doesn’t. Matter.
lol! That’s why I thrift for my materials. I can’t just cut up anything 😉
I love this project! Sew simple and it looks great! Thanks for sharing🎉
Thanks for watching 😊
So cute! I love how you used an existing pattern to shape the armholes and the bodice. I’m eager to try this out. Thanks 😊
Thank you! 😊. Have fun!
I'm totally impressed! Great job! Very cute top! 🤗

Thank you too!
I love it! Would definitely buy this off the rack.
Oh, thank you. That's a big compliment. ☺️
Just watching you first time ..very clear video of the process ..thankyou.
Thank you. 😊
For long gathers like that I do a long zig-zag stitch over dental floss and pull the floss to create the gathers.
That is an excellent idea. I might give that a try next time I have to do that much gathering. Thank you 😊
Your blouse is so cute. And I love the print.
Thanks. I was a little worried about the print. Busy, busy!
That came out really cute!!! Thank you for sharing :) Now I want to make one...
Thanks. And do it! Its a good weekend project 😉
Hi. Awesome information and creative. Thank you for sharing. More, please...
I'll try to keep them coming 😉
I usually baste my sleeves then look at it and then do a permanent stitch. This is just what I do...For your information.
I honestly thought about basing first. Then I winged it. But great tip 😉
That is SO cute! I’m definitely trying it! Thank you!
Have fun!
Well done.

This is so cute!
Thank you 😊
Absolutely love this ❤
Thank you 😊
Your new blouse looks very cute on you. It would also look good with longer sleeves (3/4), for spring and fall. The colors are also very good on you. Great job. Thank you. I need to make myself a blouse something like yours. Is that blouse as comfortable as it looks?
Thank you. And yes it’s very comfortable 😉
Wow love this 🙏❤️
Thank you 😊
Great shirt
Thanks 😊
Welllll hello, this was on my feed and I immediately subscribed.
Since I was old enough to stand beside momma at the machine I was there. Hence creating a love of sewing and even diving into other crafts!!! Ohhhhh how I miss her🥰🕊️
Your video was very nicely detailed!
Your new blouses absolutely darling and a great fit!!
Questions-your pattern piece-was it tissue paper; it looked a little heavier?
Was your seam allowance included in that piece as you cut along the side of the paper?
Your statement at the end-“many ways to do, but this is my way” 😝 I love it!!!
Thank you so much and I look forward to your channel!!!! ❤️😀
Awesome! Yes, I was at my mother's and grandmother's side learning too. I miss my grandmother more than I can say.
The paper is tracing paper. I think I got it at a local sewing store. And yes, the pattern had seam allowances built into the pattern pieces.
Glad to meet a fellow crafty sewer 😊
Super cute
Thank you! 😊
I love it!❤
Thank you 😊
LUV IT🎉
Thanks 😊
