What did you point at 16:40 ?
The Crankshaft timing Mark, which i highlighted with Tippex..!
If you are attempting to do this work yourself. I highly recommend buying a Peugeot 207 Haynes repair Manual.
@@HowToSaveMoneyOnCarRepairs did you leave the crank at TDC before putting the timing belt on ?
@@lllla7624 Yes.
I'm about to put the camshafts on again but the manual says to note the positions you remove the camshafts in for reinstallation. But then the manual says to make sure the timing marks on the cams are at 7 and 8pm. However when i removed them they were at different positions. What position would you suggest I go with, 7&8pm or my original positions?
It says in the haynes manual to use drill bits, to establish and lock the camshafts in the correct position. Do that..! follow the Haynes Manual. If you fell you are not confident enough doing this Job then call a mobile Mechanic, to finish it..! 👍👍
Useless
It was a successful job performed to Manufacture Specifications and the Car is still on the Road Today. Driving as the Manufacturers intended. So I will ignore your Comment, Mate..! Maybe I will get One Of your Women to Help me next time, ok..!🤔😇👍
@@HowToSaveMoneyOnCarRepairs Hahaha. That's the best response to that
@@niquedegraaff I always reply to Comments. I am on youtube for the right reasons to interact with other People and share knowledge. The Sealant i used is V-Tech Vital Red RTV Sealant. Heat Resistant to 365C. You can Buy it from Euro Car Parts, Machine Mart OR Ebay. Good Luck with your Repairs. 😇😇👍👍
