Such an awesome rifle. Learned about it in Slovakia at a machinegun shoot where a lot of hungarian people visited. The inventor was there and showed me videos of it on his phone. He had a suppressed version as well which was awesome!

@@armandgun Definitely get a suppressor if you can. It is ridiculous that suppressors are regulated at all. I blame Hollywood. In any case, that person is a Swedish older man that moved to Hungary a long time ago. He also made a ridiculous modded Glock 17 that was full auto with some auto extracting stock/holster solution. I got to testfire that one that day at least :) I have video of that on my UA-cam page somewhere.
Beyond cool, as far as i know this is the only shooting video from someone who actually own ones one of these. I think for us canucks there's nothing with a such a "cool factor" as this. What sort of accuracy are you getting btw? I hear a little better than an m107 from some, others say worse. Sub 2 moa?
I'll get to doing some accuracy testing with this thing and will make sure content is posted to show it. I loosely got a 3round group at 1moa with Hornady Amax last summer. It was just being sighted in at 100 yards before being shot out to a mile. Talking with Nick at Tactical Imports, he also has had some good groups out of their Lynx. I'll aim to get some results come spring. Once I get my current video sets a little more refined and my studio finished I will start incorporating accuracy content.

My cousin is a sniper and instructor in the Hungarian Army, and I have a childhood friend also sniper at the counter terrorist unit at the Hungarian police. They use this model and earlier versions of the Gepard material rifle family. They do A4 page groups on 1Km, with precision ammo and 1square meter group on 1,6Km with cheap practicing ammo, if necessary. I think its understandable if shooting this rifle is your task. The Lynx has been designed to be able to be carried by a soldier transported in an armoured transporter vehicle with small spaces, that is the reason for the small footprint.
Well you can also buy 22LR from me 20 dollars each. OR You can get 50cal expenses under 5 dollars per round pretty easy if you know how to reload or source cheap surplus.
I'm proud that this magnificent Hungarian weapon finally on the market and you guys can feel the difference. The weight and the kickback of this rifle is much better than the competitors. During the tests the developers did shoot more than 2500 with one barrel without any bruises on the sholder. Amazing

I simply can’t understand why this rifle isn’t in military service for the USA. It’s significantly better than any other self loading .50BMG and the compact nature is a major advantage for troop movements.

I don't care for owning a .50 and usually I find something like this to be overkill but I have to say this thing is pretty cool. The way the barrel extends out and recoils is sweet. Really does an excellent job of creating a .50 that can be easily carried.
Haha the constant political upheaval and never ending threat of bans have taken their toll on my savings. Despite that all, being a gun owner and being involved with the community and culture is such rewarding lifestyle.

@@shrewm you would just have to buy the muzzle break and suppressor for that. There are probably 100 companies in America that sell that and I'm pretty sure that surefire is one of them. I wouldn't bother getting a suppressor for a 50nvm since you are still going to have to wear ear pro.
Once bought and kept in good condition if you decide to sell in 10 years it will be worth double what it is today. Guns are a great investment. Especially now with restrictive laws. People want what you can’t get. It’s how this works and will pay top dollar. You own a colt Ar 15? Congratulations your premium increased 50% because colt no longer manufactures for civilian market. This guy will probably own this rifle until it’s pried from his cold dead hands.
Brock Zinck tell that to the now 35k automatic rifles that used to be half the price before you needed a class 3 firearms permit to own. If it’s even legal in your state. They increase $300+ a year
@@williamwegiel Yea... I'm not familiar with American firearm classifications much beyond the restrictions on SBRs and Suppressors. If I'm not mistaken, most determined american citizens can still go out and still buy an automatic firearm with the right tax stamp and enough cash. My point was that once the government says NOBODY can buy a certain type of firearm, like snub nose pistols in Canada for example; The only people allowed to own and purchase them are people whom already owned one prior to the ban and are now grandfathered in. Once banned completely there is literally only a handful of people left on the market who can legally buy your preowned firearm, which means it is drastically devalued when compared to when there were lots of potential buyers. This is a long winded response... do you understand my point?

This is by far the coolest 50BMG I've ever seen. I wish they made a ten round magazine & you can switch the barrel to 416 BMG barrel for California.

They need to also sell the silencer that twists onto the muzzle device. I've seen them but they don't import them.
@@shrewm you would just have to buy the muzzle break and suppressor for that. There are probably 100 companies in America that sell that and I'm pretty sure that surefire is one of them. I wouldn't bother getting a suppressor for a 50nvm since you are still going to have to wear ear pro.

Once bought and kept in good condition if you decide to sell in 10 years it will be worth double what it is today. Guns are a great investment. Especially now with restrictive laws. People want what you can’t get. It’s how this works and will pay top dollar. You own a colt Ar 15? Congratulations your premium increased 50% because colt no longer manufactures for civilian market. This guy will probably own this rifle until it’s pried from his cold dead hands.

Brock Zinck tell that to the now 35k automatic rifles that used to be half the price before you needed a class 3 firearms permit to own. If it’s even legal in your state. They increase $300+ a year
@@williamwegiel Yea... I'm not familiar with American firearm classifications much beyond the restrictions on SBRs and Suppressors. If I'm not mistaken, most determined american citizens can still go out and still buy an automatic firearm with the right tax stamp and enough cash. My point was that once the government says NOBODY can buy a certain type of firearm, like snub nose pistols in Canada for example; The only people allowed to own and purchase them are people whom already owned one prior to the ban and are now grandfathered in. Once banned completely there is literally only a handful of people left on the market who can legally buy your preowned firearm, which means it is drastically devalued when compared to when there were lots of potential buyers. This is a long winded response... do you understand my point?

your target is backwards on the base. the base should be behind the target, not in front of it.
