@@jojoland4374 Odds are, there are lifestyle changes you can make to improve your cholesterol numbers. That’s true because, more often than not, unhealthy behaviors are the main culprits behind high cholesterol.
Your body naturally produces all the LDL (bad) cholesterol it needs. An unhealthy lifestyle - not enough exercise, too many unhealthy foods - makes your body produce more LDL cholesterol than it needs. This is the cause of high LDL cholesterol for most people.
Behaviors that can negatively affect your cholesterol levels include:
      Unhealthy diet
      Lack of physical activity
Smoking or exposure to tobacco smoke
      Excess weight
Stopping or reversing these unhealthy lifestyle factors can help improve your cholesterol numbers. but don't panic, I already have a solution, For more information, click here tinyurl.com/y2qq3t6c >

Ok, as a pharmacist, I just have a word about the etymology of terms. High blood cholesterol is called hypercholesterolemia (hyper means high; emia/hemia = blood). Hyperlipidemia is a broader term referring also to high LDL, high triglyceride or high VLDL level. Triglyceride, more appropriately known as triacylglycerol, is fat in essence. So hyperlipidemia includes hypercholesterolemia but is not equivalent. 😁

    Ill have to
    A. Cut back on the fatty foods (most fast food) I take in
    B. Eat More plant proteins
Sun flower seeds, peanuts, green apples all good
    C. Milk and juice are good
    D. Drink less soda caffeinated or not, cut back on the energy drinks
I don't wanna die young from high cholesterol, blood pressure etc.
I need to get out and exercise more even if that means bumping my dog walks which I have been really lacking on from one a day to around 3 at most minimum two.

they don't discriminate the LDL particles. The problem is just looking at the LDL number and automatically assuming it’s bad if the level is high. The size of the LDL particles is so much more important than LDL-C (total). You want to have mostly the big, fluffy Pattern A LDL particles, and less of the small, dense, Pattern B LDL particles, because those are the ones that get oxidesed and can easily penetrate the arterial wall, compromising your heart health. BTW coconut oil is the best !!!

There is missing info, the LDL delivers to the cholesterol to the cell for repairs and then the HDL delivers the excess cholesterol back to the liver to be recycled.

it is good but some information can be very misleading. does damage in the arteries make it easier for cholesterol to form plack, or it is the damage that instigates the body to send cholesterol to the artery to repair it ? there are many myths surrounding cholesterol. unless one understands the true role of cholesterol and other constituents of the body one can not heal or cure.

    • @RoIIingStoned

Daldin Soph yes, when tissue damage occurs in the blood vessels (oftentimes due to high blood pressure since the pressure puts extra, sustained stress on the vessel walls) clotting develops from platelets which are very sticky and make it much easier for cholesterol to build up

Can you have to little of a bad thing? What happens when you are very low on LDL and tryglicerides?
