@@jojoland4374 Odds are, there are lifestyle changes you can make to improve your cholesterol numbers. That’s true because, more often than not, unhealthy behaviors are the main culprits behind high cholesterol. Your body naturally produces all the LDL (bad) cholesterol it needs. An unhealthy lifestyle - not enough exercise, too many unhealthy foods - makes your body produce more LDL cholesterol than it needs. This is the cause of high LDL cholesterol for most people. Behaviors that can negatively affect your cholesterol levels include: Unhealthy diet Lack of physical activity Smoking or exposure to tobacco smoke Excess weight Stopping or reversing these unhealthy lifestyle factors can help improve your cholesterol numbers. but don't panic, I already have a solution, For more information, click here tinyurl.com/y2qq3t6c >

Ok, as a pharmacist, I just have a word about the etymology of terms. High blood cholesterol is called hypercholesterolemia (hyper means high; emia/hemia = blood). Hyperlipidemia is a broader term referring also to high LDL, high triglyceride or high VLDL level. Triglyceride, more appropriately known as triacylglycerol, is fat in essence. So hyperlipidemia includes hypercholesterolemia but is not equivalent. 😁
I always being angry from my collage to not bring an animation videos like that because the imagination is very important to understand and remember the informations. So you saved me !!. Thank you so much again.

@NucleusMedicalMedia team.. Your channel has amazing information to learn the basics and build upon it if needed. The subtle differences between HDL, LDL, triglycerides, Diabetes I and II etc is so easy to understand and recall as well. Thank you for doing a wonderful job for helping learn.
I love learning about the body this is probably my favorite channel on YT. Thank you so much for providing information on such a wide range of topics and with beautiful graphics!
In other words for me Ill have to A. Cut back on the fatty foods (most fast food) I take in B. Eat More plant proteins Sun flower seeds, peanuts, green apples all good C. Milk and juice are good D. Drink less soda caffeinated or not, cut back on the energy drinks I don't wanna die young from high cholesterol, blood pressure etc. I need to get out and exercise more even if that means bumping my dog walks which I have been really lacking on from one a day to around 3 at most minimum two.

I’m 29 years old and i got my blood work done. Thought i was healthy but i got 128 LDL. I’ve been switching up my diet and I’m going to check it again in 6 months to make sure my diet change is working.
I think my day can't get over without watching your videos. Too good man. I'm in love with these animations.you deserve more views &likes.keep growing.😇😇
Perhaps you're grown up now. Please go back and check very carefully whether the information in this video is correct. Don't take a high-level announcement, advert, or peer-pressure as evidence, check statistical evidence carefully and look for intervention studies, evidence of a counterclaim, and details of mechanism.
This "sample use only" banner is so annoying. This banner can easily be placed in any side other than middle.please look into this issue.Nucleus videos are great 👍
A useful resume of essential knowledge. I love coconut oil but I accept that it isn't good for someone with bad cholesterol even though it has some health benefits.
they don't discriminate the LDL particles. The problem is just looking at the LDL number and automatically assuming it’s bad if the level is high. The size of the LDL particles is so much more important than LDL-C (total). You want to have mostly the big, fluffy Pattern A LDL particles, and less of the small, dense, Pattern B LDL particles, because those are the ones that get oxidesed and can easily penetrate the arterial wall, compromising your heart health. BTW coconut oil is the best !!!
There is missing info, the LDL delivers to the cholesterol to the cell for repairs and then the HDL delivers the excess cholesterol back to the liver to be recycled.
I'm not a smoker but for me its interesting to see more detailed explanation of how smoking affects high cholesterol, just recommendation looks not enough
Books sometimes makes studies complicated, but such vedios make it easier , I ruined my professional career , after Bsc staying at home , When I was a science student was feeling like a scientist😎 , now totally 😲
I was suffering from cholesterol issues and got minor heart stroke for serval times. We consult to doctor and he prescribed Zetia also known as Ezetimibe from theonlinemedicine . Zetia(Ezetimibe) reduces bad cholesterol or LDL and also may prevent heart attacks, stroke, and death from cardiovascular-related causes.
Stop nitpicking about this kind of cholesterol and that kind of cholesterol. Inflammation causes heart disease. Stop eating processed foods, processed and heated cheap oils and sugars, especially.
it is good but some information can be very misleading. does damage in the arteries make it easier for cholesterol to form plack, or it is the damage that instigates the body to send cholesterol to the artery to repair it ? there are many myths surrounding cholesterol. unless one understands the true role of cholesterol and other constituents of the body one can not heal or cure.
Daldin Soph yes, when tissue damage occurs in the blood vessels (oftentimes due to high blood pressure since the pressure puts extra, sustained stress on the vessel walls) clotting develops from platelets which are very sticky and make it much easier for cholesterol to build up
I surprised to see how much do effort making these animation. and absolutely salute on you. and my request is that would you like to know me that by which software you made these type animation

I have 69HDL, 72LDL, 36 triglycerides. The doctors in Italy ''let'' us have a 170 mg/dL triglyceride maxim and a 130 mg/dL LDL maxim, but have in place a minimum of 30 mg/dL for both??!!. Can you have to little of a bad thing? What happens when you are very low on LDL and tryglicerides? You can't hope to compensate with the HDL in order to achieve the total cholesterol of 150 - 200 ...... yep, they have another interval for that!
After quitting smoking some three years ago (which I use to smoke at an average of 60 cigarettes a day) I'm experiencing heaviness and feeling a high cholestrol level, I think its coz' of quality of food intake, which I have to change, but whenever I indulge in endurance cardio I feel on top of the world and like a teenager.
