I always cut up the back of the bald cap first , that way it it gets stuck to your cast then at least your model gets out quicker and you can separate the cap once it’s off them x
I forgot to say this on your actual entry, but can we just take a minute to thank Tommy for this! He's a trooper, going through the process and makeup, too - and is amazingly talented!!
OMG watching that made me feel so anxious. I definitely could not tolerate having my whole face covered like that. How long did the whole process take?
I have two questions. #1 Can you use Saran Wrap or a plastic bag instead of a bald cap? #2 Is it a must to thin the silicone before applying? Also thank you for the great video!
I need a live cast of the upper part of my head from the top of my neck in the back and forward to just above my eyebrows. I need a form to make custom fit caps for myself. No one sells caps to fit my head.
Great video! I remember creating a mask using the plaster method directly to my face (at least that's what I can remember from the experience) in my 5th grade art class *I think* & it worked out fine, but thank you for the warning! Also as a suggestion, make sure you talk as if you're filming on the same day your vids go up. It can be confusing when you're talking about the NYX Awards as if we still have a few days to vote when you upload the video the day before voting ends.
I've seen some really good videos on here for the full head cast. Basically you would cover the entire head in silicone then make two plaster jackets split down the center. You would then pop the back jacket off and using scissors cut a zig zag pattern up the back of the silicone.
so nice to see a UA-camr use a correct and safe method of face cast and I hope alot of younger viewers will use these methods! xxx
Thank you! And I really hope so. :D
Actually , it wasn't done the professional way, and you can see the result of that in the finished cast.

I've only ever lifecasted with alginate and it was always a pain. This way looks so much easier. Thank you!
Please come back Angie 😭😭😭😭 your tutorials and work help me so much 😭😭
you putting on the wet silicone on his face (3:34 and so on) reminded me so much of that creepy 'little babys icecream' video on yt :D

Allison Patricia agreed! I'd be really claustrophobic.
It normally takes 1-2 hours
i used plaster and i only had it in my face for about 20 minutes

Wow, thank you for this video. I am planning on taking a class and getting one done soon. So your video couldn't have come at a better time. 😍

You're very talented. Looking forward to more videos+

What is the brand of thinner you use for the silicone?
How long does the silicone dry on the face?

What is the difference between small and large Kryolan Bald Caps? Is one for kids basically? And one for adults?

Yus now I can link people to a proper video when they mention using plaster bandages to make their life casts
Greetings from Ecuador beautiful videos the two great
If you use Body Double Silk you do not need a release agent. It will come off of eyebrows and lashes even short hair.
Thanks for sharing ☺

Where can I find the silicone that you used and how much does it cost?
Emily Hulet There is a link to a kit in my description box. 😁

Thanks for the info and quick reply!

You are welcome! :D
What a handsome model do you have *o*

Wow - if you think plaster is hard on the skin - silicone can be a huge irritant
5:55 he's reborn
Third comment!💓💐
Yo it was good till you sanded all his skin texture away smh
the two people who disliked this are the plaster UA-camrs. lol
