I never thought there was so much to see and do in Michigan. And you have more to come? I told my wife we need to plan a trip up there. Oh, BTW, at 8:40, uh, yikes! 🤣 looking forward to parts 8,9,10...etc.
We camp up there regularly. There is sooo much up in that unique corner of America. No huge mountains but there is enough without them. Some day I will be proud to be a Yupper!!!
A few years ago, just retired, I was driving from Boston to Phoenix in late September, had a few extra days, and decided on a whim to detour up through the UP. I knew I'd never go unless I did it then. It was such a wonderful place to be. Despite having never been there, and knowing no one, it immediately felt like home. If I were 30 or 40 years younger with job possibilities, I might have moved there. It's one of those places they call "God's country".
What no picture of Akela holding the stick feeding the bear cub.I could hang around the bears and sled dogs several days. The lady that walked up on you in gift shop I didn't know what was going to happen. Thanks again on another video
I see you're enjoying one of our Midwest gems! You run around like we do when camping! Just north of the Bear Ranch and east of Grand Marais is a place called Blind Sucker Lake. Our favorite fishing spot 1/4 mile away from Lake Superior. At night we go out and find gems on the beach with flashlights. Especially Yooper Lights. Next trip do the U.P. and then head through Duluth for another extraordinary experience in the Minnesota Arrowhead coast. And if you are really daring get into Canada and circle the wonderful lake to Puskasaw, Wawa and especially the Superior Provincial Park!!! Then over to Killarney near Sudbury for Mountains, Lakes. These Lakes are a National treasure.
@@GoingNoWhereFast Haha. I blame the auto-correct mostly! We are now sitting in a candy land of leaf changes camping up near Sayner, WI. Like living in a painting and sunny skies every day. We even caught the Aurora Borealis last night!!! Ahhh, the Northwoods.
Liked the Oswald Bear Ranch. Nice that they can help out the bears in need. I want to conquer the 94 steps to the brink! Thanks for the video.....
I think you should climb the dunes while eating a Pastie. And not get sand on it !! What a challenge!!

I’ve actually been to kilarney and Sudsbury when my kids were 8 & 10. Fun. But buggy. Wrong time of year !!
@@GoingNoWhereFast I hear the beer has a nice head that way.
