I have Varian 820 and cant pass Mas Cal, any help. Have new cones and tubing, cleaned touch, transfer tube and nebulizer. Says the back ground noise is to high. I use 5ppb as tuning solution.
Would appreciate the help or idea for trouble shooting.

what happens is that when I do Mas Cal, it say background noise is to high. I have cleaned the glassware, replaced all the tubing and also cones.
My tuning solution is 5ppb.
I am in Hawaii and have a error message from the machine, will try to send you. Its about 1am my time.

Remembered time when i was working with GC-ICP-MS, could measure methyl mercury levels in pg/L xD
