Very nice solve. My solve went quickly (for me)as well. I really loved the way you found the triple in box 5. I got there eventually (of course) but your approach was far more elegant.

8m20s, this solve felt very fast and there weren't any major stumbling blocks for me. The hidden pairs were neat, but it collapsed a little bit too quickly for my liking.

12:27 for me today, fastest ever for a hard. The medium took me almost half an hour today!! Do you have any insight into what NYT thinks makes a hard “hard” and a medium “medium”?
I don't know for sure, but I suspect it has to do with the hard requiring more triples.

I didn't have too much difficulty. I managed to finish it in less than twice your time, at least.
This didn't feel like a hard puzzle to me. Did it in 9:03.
