Semplicemente meravigliosa. Bisogna saperlo che è del 1991. Attuale e fresca come non mai. Ma esistono posti dove si suona ancora questa meravigliosa house music?!
I was a bit Deep House averse in the 90's due to the Nite Club / Wine bar connotations but this little gem is magic, would have fitted right in between my Hardfloor / Rising High tracks....
@broomers3 -Can I ask where were you during the 90s golden age/what country & club scene? Curious because back then we had legendary clubs several of which has several “rooms”/smaller floors along w the main floor. Smaller floors would be deep house among other things. Then there were clubs that primarily rocked deep/deepest underground, at least on certain nights like The Shelter or Zanzibar and so on. The “wine bar” perception you mention def couldn’t have been here in nYc! So yeah curious to know your location! Cheers 🙂
This from the early nineties? Wow !!! It still sounds so fresh still in july 2020. What a very classy tune indeed, i love it , one of those hidden gems that got away .a definite thumbs up from me. 😎😎👍👍😎😎♥️🎵
UMM is a 💎 of a label, back then I would buy every 12” they put out, knowing I was in for auditory gold. A track like “Echo” is a perfect example (303 aside..) of how very important & influential newwave/electronic masters such as Depeche Mode were for the development of house music - the synths one finds on DM’s albums as early as “Speak & Spell” from 1981 or “A Broken Frame” From 1982 illustrates this beautifully. “Construction Time Again” is my favorite example, & one of Depeche Mode’s finest early albums. If you’re a true house head you likely already love DM or - need to get to know their work asap - like musical seedlings 👍
