Thank you so much for you video. From now on, clean up time, I´m going to do like you, SIMPLE GROUP ACTIVITY (using basket and working together), I will focus on the busier areas. When it´s time to clean up or tidy up, I sing a song, but the kids don´t clean up only one or two; I end up doing on my own. Thanks for the classroom schedule 💖🙏
Thank you so much, you are so incredibly helpful😊 I'm not sure if I'm doing something wrong but your Spotify playlists just open Spotify for me and don't lead anywhere. Is there somewhere else I can find them?
I honestly am not sure! I wonder if you could contact Spotify support to ask? I haven't had anyone else say they cannot access them, but will be aware. I don't have the playlists anywhere else, as Spotify was the easiest.
Thanks as always Sheryl. So first I was like ... 😮only 2 and a half hours then realized that our day is 8 to 12:30 pm. Four and a half hours! Which incudes Snack Time plus Lunchtime on the schedule. No nap time unless an individual actually requires one. I absolutely love my job, but it feels like a 9 - 5 work week😅. Do you have a specific time on the schedule for changing or pottying apart from as the need arises? This term we have 22 two and three year olds. Mostly young three's and older two's plus 5 young two's who seem to hold their own and mix well with the older kiddos.
@@susanwilliams2807 - i usually take the few potty trained children to the bathroom during the second half of centers time, and then again after snack. I change diapers as needed. The older I get the more thankful I am that it’s only 2.5 hours! 😅 The other classes are 3.5 hours and have an optional after school program.
@@zinadab1182 - I would then try doing some sort of large motor in the classroom. I will turn on music that gets the children moving. There are songs that give directions on moving different body parts, or moving in certain directions, etc. I get out our scarves and we dance around using those, etc.
My director is constantly changing our class schedule, which really undermines my decision making plus it confuses the kids. It just depletes my positive attitude. It feels like its not even my classroom.
@@zinadab1182 - I tell my families at the start of the year to let me know when they have started potty training at home, and then I will start taking them to the toilet at school.
Thank you for all of your videos. They have made me a better teacher!!
I'm so glad they've been helpful!

My biggest worry is during cold winter days and cannot go outside. Can you suggest any ideas? Especially for those of us who don’t have access to gym.
