The scene with Will & Woody in the gay bar was done with perfection. No one else could have pulled that off.
I must have missed that scene somewhere down the line watching the series. That was my favorite scene out of this whole video about Nate 😂

Woody Harrelson is such a dynamic actor. He can do any kind of role on TV or on the big screen. His facial expressions are awesome in comedy. He is a combination of cute and mischievious. There was definitely good chemistry between him and Debra Messing.

I like him anyway, I don't live in the US so the politics don't bother me, although Trump makes any other country nervous since he'll just say stuff and do stuff and it's a bit scary. At 1:45 when Grace calls Nate a child and he stomps his foot, I think Debra’s laugh was genuine. Karen, Will and Jack all loved him.

He was my favorite boyfriend’s of Grace. They had great chemistry.
I hate the cowardly and out of character way they wrote Nathan out at the end. He was so insensitive to Grace with how he dumped her after she accepted his proposal and then took off with another woman right away using the tickets for a trip that they were going to use. It was such a bad ending to a good and funny character. But I guess they wanted her to have an emotional breakdown and she won an Emmy for that episode.
I think its in character he probs was hurt that she ran away and dumped him so he probs went into a maniac state of mind n just impulsively took a random girl to the place instead of canceling, so he could run away as well n escape his mind for a bit.
@@kibkirby actually Nathan dumped Grace after she finally accepted his proposal. Perhaps he got cold feet.
Maybe, but it wasn't like he did an immediate about-face after proposing to her. He technically did propose to her while they were in bed at the beginning of the episode, but Grace was so appalled over the timing of that and basically kept him hanging. It wasn't until Nathan finally got the seating arrangement for an upcoming 'dinner party' correct that she finally enthusiastically said 'yes,' but not before giving him many obvious hints.
As emotionally crushing as it would've been for her at the moment, I do understand Nathan's position - deciding to marry someone should be a decision reached because both people want to do so and out of genuine love for one another, not because the other person aced a series of checklists or 'tests.' I think Nathan saw through Grace's charade and realized she was only saying 'yes' because she had been desperately setting up the right time to where she could retroactively accept his proposal, not because she really wanted to marry him.
Him running off with another girl soon after with their plane tickets may look bad, but I think it was in character for him. He always was much more laid-back than Grace, and I think he eventually just got exhausted being around her and wanted something more casual even if it was a rebound relationship. I know a lot of people like their relationship, but if we're being real here, it's hard to envision them really working out long-term especially with how Grace's mother would've reacted had they stayed together.
@@rj4646 you make some valid points but I still think he was cruel to walk out on her like that so abruptly. It showed a lack of sensitivity on his part and it really devastated her.
@carrieheffernan1685 It was insensitive if we look at it just from Grace's perspective sure, but the alternative of him just not letting her know how he felt especially when possible marriage was literally at stake would've just put off the likely inevitable. How he handled it forced Grace to go through massive heartbreak in the short-term, but she at least got it out of the way and emerged from it relatively OK.
My point is basically there is never a _good_ time to breakup with someone. Especially when it's not mutual. I don't believe he wanted to break up with her like that either, but Grace's hesitancy to accept his proposal the first time and her 'testing' of him before finally saying yes definitely threw up red flags for him.

Woody Harrelson should have stayed on the show longer, he connected so well with the entire group unlike Leo who I never found funny on the show.
