I am SOOOOOO happy i stumbled upon your video because i just sold a dress on poshmark for 9.00 so my cut was 6.05 and i paid 1.00 for it and was thinking that's embarrassing and not worth it but you reassuring me that it is worth it helped me feel better so thank you so much!
Thanks for the video as it gives us realistic expectations! I do want to ask though ..with all the distance traveling you have to do to buy items why don't you expense mileage instead of gas? I also track mileage to the store to buy supplies (laundry detergent, lint rollers etc.).
I love eBay I have done so many things in my life for work and nothing is more satisfying as being a reseller / content creator been in it 5 years the beginning was rough working a full time day job using everything extra $$$ for eBay sourcing but a year ago I was able to quit that job and do eBay full time it was well worth the sacrifice in the beginning
Ok Yesterday I picked up 4 wrangler shirt after you place them on your 25 best sellers.... and today I hear wrangler brans must have some extra quality statements to it, like extra tall or fire resistant, OTHERWISE IT'S NOT GOOS SELLER? What the heck. I think I should stop watching videos like that LOL On the other hand, there are things that are useful, too. Good job Buddy
Well their are a lot of factors in understanding which wranglers sell and for how much. The brushpoppers are the ones your referring too but if you can find other vintage wranglers they will sell for $25-$40 depending on size and pattern.
@@TaylorExchange I get it. I realize I will make mistakes along this road. I pick up size of my husband, so he is going to end up with tons of brand name shirts ))))) I enjoy watching your material, great videos and info. Very super impressive.
Ran across this video of yours. Liked and subscribed. You are now one if the top people that I will be watching. Going to start selling on ebay in the next couple of months. Love your style of talking, down to earth, no bs. How did you set your shipping up as far as costs? With your inventory system. Do you reuse a sku # after you sell an item? Thank you. I will be watching more of your older videos also.
Love to hear it Lee. Ya all those questions I’ve made videos on so if you still need some clarification after watching them, I’ll answer a question or two. Tough to answer so many questions in one comment. But I appreciate you following along.
Nice, thats pretty nifty! @@TaylorExchange Again, I really enjoyed the video. I've been organizing my store space today and listened while I was working. I just gave your store a follow as well. Very nice, simple listings. I like your style. I just started my store up this year and am aiming to be in your position by Q2 of 2024 to support myself and the family with eBay. Videos like this keep me motivated. Sidenote: I see your items ship from Wichita Falls. That's where my Air Force technical training was many years ago. Small world!
Idk because the free listing amounts has increased. But theirs a point where it’s more cost effective based on the amount of listings used per month. You’d have to run the numbers to figure it out. eBay starts charging .30 cents a listing after the free ones are used and it adds up.
@TaylorExchange HI, this is the first video of yours I've seen. Thanks for the advice. I may have a unusual circumstance. I am a storage auction buyer and just got a lot from a semi-famous boxer. There are a lot of custom and 1 of a kind clothes. Including ring worn and ring entering clothes.I'm not sure e-bay is the best place for them. Any ideas?

If there’s one thing I’ve really learned is that the rough times always pass. Thank you for the great content !! Oh.. and I use Jairo pack off your recommendation and I have been really happy with them. Cheaper is not always better so I’ll stay with them too.

Some teach me value and some teach me what NOT to do! 😂 Keep rockin’ it like you are and I fully believe you will go higher and higher. Best Wishes!
I bought some poly bags that don’t seem strong enough. It seems they might be easier to rip. Sometimes I’ll double bag the item to keep it safer. Cheaper doesn’t always mean same quality. I don’t know about Jairo pack though.
I guess it depends on your area. I watch other YTbers who say don’t even mess with anything that you can’t make a $20 profit in. But the area I live in is a rural college town. If I waited for only items I could make $20 profit on, I’d sell like one item a week
Exactly. Everything depends on what and where you source. I see a lot of people traveling to source for a weekend or week and come back with really great stuff. Sometimes getting more creative with your sourcing can lead to major profit. Like Phoenix Resale trading New Switch systems for people old game collections
No deference in selling 1 $100 item or 20 $5 items. In fact, on eBay, you can improve profitability on small items because of the shipping profit. I've sold small, low weight items and completely offset the ebay % from the shipping % I get back.
