A few notes:
Pre Columbian Cultures shown
Most minor revolts, rebellions are not shown
Remember that countries that have more than one flag for a certain year or that existed for less than a year may not align with other flag changes or territorial changes of the same year.
The Juan Fernández Islands, Malpelo Islands, Rocas Atoll, and the Desventuradas islands are shown to by claimed by Spain when they were first visited, due to when they were claimed being unclear.
Likewise, the Aurora Islands are shown as part of the UK in 1927 when they were first chartered.
Not every single war is shown.
The Flag of the Inca Empire shown was more of a standard for the emperors, or Sapa Inca, than to represent the Inca Empire itself.
Klein Venedig is shown with it's coat of arms on a white background.
Slight border error between Maranhão and Grão Pará and Brazil from 1704 to 1725.
Argentina and Chile are shown with the Spanish flag until they adopted their own flags.
The flag of Nicaragua from 1852 to 1854 is merely a possible attributed flag.
After 1930 the civil flag of Venezuela is shown.
The flags of colonial Spain, Portugal, France, Great Britain, and the Dutch Republic were not exactly national flags. Rather, they were naval flags or royal standards.

Interesting that most countries divided and became small republics while Brazil stayed as a big empire and repressed the separatist revolutions, and only grew in size while other republics kept getting smaller, such as Bolivia

After having 3 relatively good presidents in the 1830s
From 1839-1879 we had an Era of Military Leadership
Where Generals would coup another Generals, drama, death and dictatorships happened and funny enough these generals when they took over, most of them couldn't even keep their dictatorships endure for a long time because then they would just be overthrown by someone else! (And sometimes during those coups, there were times that the Bolivia was in Anarchy, literal anarchy that anyone could just invade Bolivia by themselves, but luckily our neighbors didn't notice that)
But still, because of all of that chaos, Bolivia suffered for 40 years a Political and economic decline, fun fact, we were so broke, that when our mines were flooded and our crops were doing bad (which stayed for that way for decades), the only reason why Bolivia didn't go bankrupt (barely) was because 90% of the income the country made came out of the taxes and tributaries from the natives!
That’s because of the Cold War, the U.S promoted a coup on every Latin American country to avoid communism…anyways the military dictatorships were pretty terrifying since they were killing communist party members in Latin America, everything turned out to be perfect for the U.S bc all Latin American countries were now under American control.

Basically Brazil had a very skilled diplomat, the Baron of Rio Branco, who managed to settle pretty much all of those international border disputes from the early republic in favor of Brazil. And yeah, he still styled himself a baron even after the monarchy was abolished lol.

Interesante animación, aunque tiene algunos errores.
1.- La bandera de la expedición hacia la independencia del Perú elaborada entre Argentina y Chile, era una de tres estrellas pero en el video se muestra con solo una.
2.- En diciembre de 1820 la parte norte del Perú (que era la intendencia de Trujillo) se había independizado siete meses antes que llegara la expedición de Argentina y Chile, aunque no tuvo una bandera legítima jugó un papel importante que facilitó el camino a la independencia y agilizó la llegada de Bolívar a Ayacucho en 1824 que, si no me equivoco, era el capítulo final de la independencia del Perú. Es una lástima que el video se limitó por años y no por meses, lo que deja perder puntos importantes en la historia como este de acá.
3.- Faltó la bandera de Bolivia entre 1826 a 1831, que era una franja amarilla horizontal en la parte superior con franjas en vertical de rojo y verde en la parte medio e inferior.

@@N.ep1 Te equivocas, le sigue faltando la segunda bandera de Bolivia. En este vídeo en 1826 se pasa de la primera a la tercera, fíjate bien la falta de las franjas verticales XD.
Este video está plagado de muchísimos errores y el más grande y bastante mala leche es el de otorgarle una bandera unficada hace siglos a un supuesto pueblo unificado de la Patagonia.
El peor error de todos es que se atrvio a poner la malvinas, la georgias y la sandwich del sur como inglesas.
