There is a setting for Bluebell AC to have their strobes on. Located in the tools light editor (near the bottom). Also a gate editor for those parked AC.
Not sure that works, I click it and get this message "This option work with Bluebell XP pack only. Please install." Even with it installed.
For the free version clicking that option states to install the Bluebell XP. ??? I am really confused because I am trying the free version prior to purchase and even I have no traffic. No traffic, NO BUY!
That should be turned on as in default.

I'm having trouble with (XP 11.55) the gates. I have to use the air-stair to board the pax. I was hoping X-Life could help with this. I've seen a demo on it elsewhere, and I like the looks of it. That's okay if you don't see the pax if you can see the gate connecting to the aircraft. Nice to see all this traffic at KSFO! Love it when the airport gets busy! Thank you for this demo as well. Your videos are top-quality and it's a real treat to see a "Q-8 PILOT" video!

I would ask Q8Pilot how does he have traffic. Installed JAR airports? Free edition does not have traffic at least for me with a new just bought fresh XPlane 11 Install.

Incredible video! Just a question, I have x life running and set to have max planes, but the thing is that I still rarely see any aircraft taxiing, taking off or landing. Would you suggest why? Thanks.
Either traffic is not turned on or you are in a non-supported airport.

in the x life plugins there's a button for flight plan. what atc gets the fl/pl if its filed?

Thank you for the thorough job. Can XEnviro run with SkyMaxx Pro 4 and Real Weather Connector or does that make no sense? I've seen people run both, but I didn't know if it was advisable.
Most welcome Scott! xEnviro can co-exist with SMP and RWC but you will have to disable the plugin you want to run though the plugin menu. From experience though, I recommend that you have either xEnviro or SMP + RWC.

Can't complain since it's free. But one major way to improve X-Life is to somehow create real world routes for the AI Aircraft. I'm not particularly fond of seeing an Ethiopian Airways Aircraft landing in Las Vegas for example, etc.

great tutorial as always I do have one question for you I have the paid version of xlife it appears to me that there are only a handful of airports at this time that are supported for full ATC vectoring to and from each Airport. it is my hope that they will add more airports in future updates do you have any information to support this?

Thanks for the update tutorial for Xplane 11..Did they manage to fix the flight plan bug integration importing into X-life. The last time I used X life in Xplane 10 I faced a lot difficulties creating a flight plan either automatically or manually,also some airports X life would not work?
Thank you for watching! Not all airports are supported, so you would have to find 2 supported airports for ATC in x-life to work.

I was also wondering if you had any information on the proper way to make X-Plane 11 work with fscloud? the problem is when I am on fscloud in X-Plane 11 , people can see my aircraft but I am not able to see their aircraft. X-Plane 10 and fscloud work perfectly together however X-Plane 11 does not at this time any help would be greatly appreciated. thank you in advance.

Thanks very much, this is awesome adon, I would say this is must have adon, it gave realistic feeling to taxi on airports.
Is it possible to set the default AIRAC 1710 used by X plane as the one used by X life. Seeing as the X life one is 1210 by default and very out of date?
Very interesting. What are your thoughts if you wanted to use this on VATSIM? Like for example, if you were cleared to line up and wait but there is already an x-life plane there. I would love to use it on VATSIM to add more traffic, but that scenario might prevent me from wanting to do that. I guess I could just take-off through that AI plane since it's client-side, but that removes a bit of emersion.
I completely agree, no traffic addon if you are using any of the online networks for ATC.

If your AI aircrafts are just stationary with Xlife that means the airport is not compatible or some other issue?

Do you mean do the airports come with x-life? The airports would be separate addons, but x-life has support for several of the freeware scenery for x-plane. If that didn't answer your question, please explain. Thanks buddy =)

Fantastic video! I have done exactly how to install X-life. After installation I opened Xplane 11 and it freezed saying initializing plugins? Any ideas or advice how to fix the problem. Thank you.
Just give it some time. Some plugins will take time to initialize. This will happen the first time only.

No, you will have to have either NavDataPro or Navigraph FMS Manager.

Hey there, apologies, I know nothing about Mac.
Question: I have X life installed but can't figure out how to configure the correct traffic for the correct airport. For example, in your video here you have a lot of United traffic at KSFO which makes sense given it's a United hub. As for me, when I am at say VHHH (Hong Kong) X-life provides no Cathay Pacific and maybe a Frontier and obviously this is wrong. How can I fix this? Thanks for your videos! Mind you I have updated my navigraph data. It just appears that airlines are showing up at incorrect airports if that makes sense.
you can not... the united planes in the video are static aircraft coimg with the airport scenery. In the video you see, as soon as he fire up x-life, that an air malta a320 pops up which isnt realistic at all
This fact actually makes the addon usless for me, as it bothers me more to have wrong traffic then no traffic. Hope somewhen there will be a proper (payware) add on for AI traffic but as far as i know, there is no one out there yet.

Does the traffic only work at the listed airports? If so is there any other traffic program the works at every or most airports?
You can consult JARdesign website for supported airports. There are quite a bit, but not all airports are supported.

They will work independently of one another but yes they can co-exist.

Where in navigraph does it say update your GNS430 folder?
In my system, the BBXL aircraft does not have touchdown landing or takeoff smoke. I have this plugin for years and never had that effect. The default AI its ok but not xlife´s. Anyone can confirm?

Hey Q8 pilot do the ai aircraft adjust to different parts of the world. e.g adelaide south australia you wouldnt have american airlines or delta
You can customize what aircraft to see at which airport!

bro when i extracted BXXL 1 2 and 3 i didnt see the bluexxl or whatever folder and i dont have local disk can i extract open me and read and then X life files

Hi Q8Pilot, Will this be available for X-plane 12? I have tried to install as per video, but when I open the plugins in the aircraft at the gate X-life isn't showing. I have the BluebellXL folder in the Custom Data, and the Xlife folder in the Plugins folder
Bluebell is a seperate download available on the org forums. XLife has not been made available for XP12 to the best of my knowledge.

Navigraph or NavDataPro by Aerosoft is required to download the latest AIRAC.

Why is my CIPF folder in Resources/default data? Yours is in Custom Data.

Navigraph section is/was a bit hard to follow. Atleast for me since I'm new to X-Plane 11 and it seems that we need to 1. register to Navigraph in order to download the software and 2. It's a paid service. I think it's not known software for everyone. Also how to use the program and if I don't want to subscribe then does the addon X-Life will work without navdata on GNS430 folder?
X-Life will work without GNS430 folder as it comes with its own NavData.
Thanks! Got it working somehow but ran into memory problem. Some planes are on top of each other and for example in Helsinki airport there's no Finnair planes. Maybe I'll give it a go another time.

Probably a good plugin, but using it with the JAR A320 in LFPG my frame rate dropped from 40/45 down to 9. So I uninstalled it and I am back to 40 fps.
Noticed some gizmo plugin in your folder. What it does? I cant find the proper version at x-plane.org forums :/

I dont know why, but i m not getting any planes in my sim, i got the kjfk DD payware and the flytampa converted scenary.
You need ground routes for the airports. Not all airports are supported in X-Life. For a list of supported airports in x-life, please consult the JARDesign website.
Q8Pilot wow, so are you tilling me that a DD PAYWARE is not supported? Is there another AI option?
You can try (World Traffic 3) WT3 which released about a week ago.

You can use Overlay Editor to remove the static aircraft that are part of the scenery. Also, make sure static aircraft is not selected from the XP settings menu.

The list of supported airports is available within the plugin menu. There are many and new ones added from time to time. For airports that are not supported, you will need to create your own routes using WED.
