I do like to laser cut parts so that I can re-eterate on them and also reproduce them. It's also helpful to be able to pass on files, and it creates a more useful intellectual property, which is of even higher value than the aircraft itself.
Wow, I feel like I've found a long lost friend even though I don't know you. I stumbled upon your original build thread about 14 years ago while researching something completely different. I'm not a rc flyer or a modeler but I loved the engineering of what you were doing. Checking on the Peacemaker progress became part of my morning routine for a long time. I very much enjoyed the 3D animation and mock ups of the flaps, landing gear, bomb bay doors and motor gear reduction. I wanted to see it fly but I didn't want the building to end. Our children are about the same age so it was cool watching them grow up. Anyway, I'm subscribed and looking forward to more cool stuff. Rock on brother.
I’m coming to the point where I add my wing to my hellcat design because Iv got a decent fuselage outline. Can’t wait for incidence video! It’s what I got wrong on my first hellcat and I needed like 25 digress down on the motor to fly straight lol
@@dagtheaviatorI really had no clue what I was doing than. I didn't have the correct size slot for the wing cut out and it was a mess. Hopefully this one turns out better.
As far as I know there are no radials like that. Besides, I only do electric aircraft. I hate the sound of chainsaw engines, and can’t afford six radials. :)
I like giant scale too. Your video's make me think. Thanks Dag.
Glad you like them! Rock ON!

Again, Awesome series! As a huge B-36 fanboy, this is so wonderful to me. Thank you
Super glad you liked it! :)
thank you for sharing your work. BRILLIANT!!!!!
I can't wait for the next one DAG.
Wonderful model 😎
Thank you!!!! :)
Awesome video! Cant wait to see more!
Looking foward to B-36 2.0!
Very instructive, can't wait for the next part... thanks for sharing your experiences.
A lot more to come. Thanks!
Amazing attention to detail. I appreciate the breakdowns.
It may be my OCD, but I love details in everything I do. :)

If your wing is at about 2 degrees, and your H-stab is zero, that is really strange you need so much down thrust.

This is so flipping cool! Well done! I would love to be able to do this! I can’t wait to see this fly!!
Thanks!!!
Superb !!!
Thank you.
I wondered what happened with this build. I first spotted it a few years ago on one of the forums.
I also believe 3D printing will be better .
I hope so, 3D printed bulkheads would be way cool! :)
Are you going to use replica radial engines? Does anyone make a radial engine like the R-4630?
As far as I know there are no radials like that. Besides, I only do electric aircraft. I hate the sound of chainsaw engines, and can’t afford six radials. :)
@@dagtheaviator Thanks Dag. I was just curious. An engine like that would be terribly expensive.
@@jamesroets800 But it would be really cool. If I hit the lotto, I will have six made! :)
