The Plane Carrier

Hey folks, this is a project I created to make it easier to get to the RC Airfield. As many of you know, most of the RC planes I fly are giant-scale. But I have a few that I would like to throw into my Suburban and just go fly. Well, I think this hits the mark.
This will make it easy to carry my Flex Otter, Flex Cessna 170, and my Freewing Avanti.
All the 3D-printed parts will be available on my Patreon by this weekend.

Thanks! I almost went with PVC. I love the stuff and really think mixing both PVC with 3D printed fitting and plywood, would be way cool.

Neat design. I think I will try something similar for my car. Did you consider using rigid insulation instead of plywood? If it works, it makes it a lot easier to handle. Maybe use fibreglass top and bottom with rigid insulation if the insulation isn't strong enough by itself?

I really didn't think about rigid insulation. I had this piece and didn't think of anything else. It's a cool idea, and glassing it would be very strong.
