- The Great Pyramid of Giza, the only remaining "Seven Wonders of the Ancient World," and also the oldest. The before-and-after images show what these wonders might look like today if they had survived. Commissioned by @budgetdirect, researchers gathered information about each wonder, and designers created 3D renderings with a modern backdrop. The original Seven Wonders of the World, compiled by Antipater of Sidon, included:
The Great Pyramid of Giza
Hanging Gardens of Babylon
Statue of Zeus at Olympia
Temple of Artemis at Ephesus
Mausoleum at Halicarnassus
Colossus of Rhodes
Lighthouse of Alexandria. - Розваги
of course colossus or Rhodes doesn't exist anymore, Kratos destroyed it in the first mission on GOW 2
😂😂😂
The Hanging Gardens of Nineveh, not Babylon.
Stephanie Dalley has done the research and it points to Nineveh and it was constructed by Sennacherib.
amazing
너무 좋은 자료..
I build all the seven wonders of the world in Washington as I play Civilization V.
But this is not the Great Pyramid. The Great Pyramid was built by Pharaoh Khufu 2500 years before Christ. The one you showed, with the characteristic remains of the original limestone coat is actually the Pyramif of Khufu's successor, Khafre.
I think the video was just conveying what the particular three pyramids in Giza as a whole would have looked like with their limestone coat and golden pyramidions.
0:00 wow, this is Chepren's pyramid, nit "The Great Pyramid" of Cheops.
I came here to point this out
But that's not the Great Pyramid of Giza shown, but Pyramid of Khafre
The statue of Zeus would have been painted, as all Greek statues.
305,300 bc????
What ancient wonders will still be intact today if not, for the malicious destruction of the Christians😪
Come now, we’re not all bad!
Maybe not today, but back in the those times? Oh boy...
@@killburn56 Even back then, there were good Christians, it’s just the vocal minority that got put in the history books. Besides, given the historical context, those civilizations would’ve done the exact same thing to Christians if they had the chance, and to other groups as well. For example imagine how much Christian writings and artifacts would still be intact today, if not for the malicious destruction of the Vikings?
@@knightofarkronia9968 And imagine just how much cultural information was lost when Christians decided to do away with various cultures they invaded, Vikings (or Norse) included. Can't really claim any high ground when it comes to destruction of history...
I highly doubt that Christians have the power of earthquakes or the only humans that know war
Statue of Zeus was plundered by filthy Abrahamic Crusaders
Often times people claim to share our beliefs solely so they can use them as a scapegoat.
@@knightofarkronia9968 true
Gold and ivory perished in a fire?? Gold?? Why do i find this hard to believe. Also wtf why christians destroy such beauty? Makes me not like them
You must not like Goths Germans, Aztecs, Muslims, Hindus, Buddhists, Scythians, or any other culture/creed that ignorantly destroyed great wonders.
