Completely agree. Chi-Chi wasn't only just a super talented queen BUT had a heart of gold and was deepmy passionate about drag. She helped me come out to my family after 26 years of me hiding who I was. I'm so grateful to hear for that. I pray she's finally found peace. She is STILL deeply missed 💔

6 years ago, I fell in love with drag race after watching Bob's season. Her comedy, strength and moral gave me the confidence and energy I needed to get through high school. Being a shy 14 year old to the flamboyant queen I am today, I totally owe Bob for a part of it!
Any time a black woman or black-woman-presenting man is confident, non-black people don't like it. Even some black people don't like it. They want black women to be at the bottom and not be proud. But Bob just rolled right over it. I hate when it hurts the queens, and I feel bad for them because black queens always get hate for things white queens don't (or in a disproportionate amount). I've learned as a black woman that it's not fair but I'm not gonna let it stop me. Because that hate comes from an insecure place that has nothing to do with me personally! I think one of the reasons Bob is such a fan favorite is because she’s so polished. She’s been doing this for a hot minute and you can tell. Her makeup never looks off and she knows her limits but isn’t afraid to step out of them, but if it doesn’t go great she has a back up plan. Also, everything seems congruent, which is something a lot of the drag queens struggle with. For example, her first lip sync is well thought out, it builds naturally, and has the same vibe throughout all of it, while her opponent is just doing whatever they can to impress, it’s not a bad move, but next to bob’s calculated performance it looks cheap and is lacking.
This the first time I have ever made a comment on any tube...Bob the drag Queen is soooooo much more than "Drag Queen", she is a warm, intelligent, true talent. To be in her company is enough, the Drag Queen is the glittering cherry on top.

Spankie Jackson (the winner of Down Under Season 2) was reminiscent of BTDQ on S8! Lots and lots of talent, just not the most polished runways

6 years ago, I fell in love with drag race after watching Bob's season. Her comedy, strength and moral gave me the confidence and energy I needed to get through high school. Being a shy 14 year old to the flamboyant queen I am today, I totally owe Bob for a part of it!

Any time a black woman or black-woman-presenting man is confident, non-black people don't like it. Even some black people don't like it. They want black women to be at the bottom and not be proud. But Bob just rolled right over it. I hate when it hurts the queens, and I feel bad for them because black queens always get hate for things white queens don't (or in a disproportionate amount).
I've learned as a black woman that it's not fair but I'm not gonna let it stop me. Because that hate comes from an insecure place that has nothing to do with me personally! Let them seethe while I succeed!

I have to admit I was already following Kim Chi and Naomi on Instagram and when they were announced I really thought one of the would win! But I changed my mind when I saw Bob during the first acting challenge. She killed it and I just knew that she would dominate the rest of the season!

I remember season 8, 2016, people trying so hard to deny Bob' star quality and even root against her, but to me it was so sweet to see her on screen (and season 8 for that matter), after some sour moments from the year before
I met bob 5 years ago when I was 17 at the hippodrome in Baltimore. Got her autograph too and I think I asked her a question but idk what I said. To meet god at 17 was a thrill

I think one of the reasons Bob is such a fan favorite is because she’s so polished. She’s been doing this for a hot minute and you can tell. Her makeup never looks off and she knows her limits but isn’t afraid to step out of them, but if it doesn’t go great she has a back up plan. Also, everything seems congruent, which is something a lot of the drag queens struggle with. For example, her first lip sync is well thought out, it builds naturally, and has the same vibe throughout all of it, while her opponent is just doing whatever they can to impress, it’s not a bad move, but next to bob’s calculated performance it looks cheap and is lacking.
This the first time I have ever made a comment on any tube...Bob the drag Queen is soooooo much more than "Drag Queen", she is a warm, intelligent, true talent. To be in her company is enough, the Drag Queen is the glittering cherry on top.
