Hay nets work for horses. Horses waste a tremendous amount of good hay even when a hay feeder is used. See the results of feeding with a hay feeder and the results when a hay net is added to the feeder.
Hay nets save hay and eliminate the concern of respiratory problems caused by horses burrowing their head into the round bale and breathing in any dust in there. An easy method for getting the hay net over a round bale is shown.

It is a Century Livestock Feeder P.O. Box 501 Shidler OK 74652 918.793.3382 It came with a 7 year warrantee. I have had it about 12 years and it is as good as the day I bought it.
