Ishkaran Brar there are many reasons, as dragtimes said, the surface is not prepared, the tires of the 720s might not be on ideal temperature and(or) pressure and also air temperature has a strong effect

When a car is breaking it goes in the front low and in the back high this is not good for stability and for breaking. With the air break you generate 10 % extra break power and the car is stabil in the back so a car is more precise in the corners. And another aspect on the air brake is that you can build smaller breaks so you car is lighter!!!!!
I was lucky enough to be there on the day, the closest start I've ever seen, incredible how quickly they disappeared down the runway! Ohh and Mat is an absolute gent, really pleased as I've been a fan for years! A few more interesting races to come ;-)

It is not inferior in every category.Mr JWW has some videos on why he ended up not buying the 720s.He said it is one of the greatest and fastest cars but when you are just driving it in lower speeds ,it feels like a GT. The 675 LT is a hardcore ,track-focused car.It probably produces more downforce than the 720s too.
Nj H youre r8ght, but see how bumpy the tarmac was?... it's not just up to the driver you know, need to warm up tires, perfect the launch sequence, change gears precisely and have a smooth road. They did a good job anyways
Yeah. On a perfectly prepped track with ideal temperatures and a few million takes to dial in the perfect launch and tire temperature. This track certainly isn't ready for that car doing 9.7. Elsewhere for sure and in the hands of someone that drags repeatedly with drag lights.

Honestly from an audience’s perspective it seems liked both are hosting the races, because Shmee is talking as if he is hosting the drag race and Matt is also talking like he hosting the drag race. I’m just trynna say the way that these two men talk, it’s like putting two batteries facing each other both on the + end. All in all this is very entertaining to see two young men just enjoying their cars and having a really good time

they are on a non prepped surface, 10.5 isn't terrible, I've done 10.1 on a similar surface...

Cold tyres as well as a self admitted slow reaction time. Obviously under the right conditions it could do better. 10.5 is still quick as hell.

This track usually doesn't put down the best quarter times.
Mwoah, 720 ran 9.7 below sea level, at night on dragstrip. These were ideal conditions. So 10.5 is about what this car will do in real world.
