The Speedy bay window pole is easy to fit can be cut to the correct size using a fine tooth saw. Before you cut the pole to size, it is a good idea to completely assemble the pole on the floor first so you can measure the assembled pole and double check your measurements before you cut the pole.
Special metal curtain rings are supplied with this bay pole. The rings are lined with nylon so they can open and close the curtains smoothly, passing over the curtain fixing brackets and corner joints without any problems. The wall fixing brackets are extendable so they can be adjusted to allow for curtains such as pinch pleat curtains that often need extra space between the curtain pole and the wall to allow for the folds of the curtains when they are open.
Another advantage of buying a bay window pole that has adjustable wall fixing brackets is that they can be adjusted once the pole has been fitted to the wall to allow for any discrepancies in the fitting.
