It looks like you found god ,on that walk, after watching some of your video,s , it tells me you hikers are just peaceful spirits walking and enjoying the Visions yous see before yous, and that is what life is all about .enjoying the vision in front of you, stay safe and keep enjoying your vision,
Hello Derek, this one left me questioning my life for a while. I too am not a "practicing religious person", but I saw some honest goodness (godliness) in the people you met, as well as some heaven on earth in the images you project from the surrounding areas you are travelling. If only all of Earth' s people (not to seem political or critical) could be so good, but then that is what makes your venturing and sharing more importantly, worthwhile. It shows us that at the heart of more people than not, goodness exist. I do hope that over time your travels in Ireland specifically , will be used to showcase the goodness of it's people and the beauty of the Country.
Lots of people might say that they aren’t religious, but if we have been brought up in a Christian setting, I know it’s still within us. I’ve been to the Holy Land a number of times, but last year I met my niece and her mom there. My niece professed to not believing in any of this stuff, but 12 hours after arriving, we found ourselves at the Mount of Beatitudes on the Sea of Galilee attending an outdoor mass. My niece was overcome with emotion and started sobbing. We may try to suppress it, but it’s still within us. Same with you.
Derek I choose to believe that people are good and kind and in those special times when you treat your fellow man good not expecting anything that’s when God shows up. And gives blessing to a hiker and show his mercy and love and then the hiker whom haven’t prayed in 20 years talks back to God in his prayers. You have so much more faith than you know just look how you went from no sponsorship to three in the blink of a eye. I love you videos and your beautiful country of Ireland!!!!!!

I think I’ve only seen sheep, horses, and cows, but really never any wildlife... I wish you did believe in God.
