I don't know if it applies to all high schools in the Philippines, but we have color identification for high school uniforms. We have many High schools in our area where the skirts and blouse ribbons have specific checkered pattern and color palettes so non-students and officials can figure out which exact school we're from. Like my skirt's a yellow and green checkered pattern and a pale yellow blouse, while the other school has grayscale checkered skirts and ribbons and another has a red/purple pattern

In my school here in the Philippines, our new school uniform is plain yellow blouse and plain royal blue long skirt. I hate the color 'cuz we looked like a minion from Despicable Me. But its old version is much better because it looks like on the timeline 0:31 white blouse but it's collar is a bit curvey with a line on its corner that has color that matches its skirt color and the skirt is still royal blue but with checkered pattern.
Every school in the philippines has a unique uniform of their own and what makes it even more unique is the necktie that some school has with the initials of the schools name sewn in it to identify which school the student goes to. some doesnt tho but the school i went to had them:)

Philippines uniforms colours sometimes identifies what patron saint the school is patronising. it’s not just a colour sometimes. For example Holy Spirit University is full while with a neckties with a bit of accent colour.

Our uniforms make us look like anime characters, we have a patterned avocado green color box pleaded skirt that ends around your knees, and our top would be a gala, you know.... im not sure if that is english, but it has the same patterned avocado green fabric on the end of the sleeves, plus we have a tie that is the same fabric as the skirt too. But the HEELS are a pain sometimes, but it completes the look with the blank knee socks. Aesthetic babyyyyyy✨

My highschool school thankfully made the light yellow base fabric both for the blouse and polos, the green and yellow checkered fabric for the skirt also became the necktie/ribbon for girls and the accent of the polos for boys...they still can't get rid of the black slacks though 🤣 looking back at it the management that time had a good sense of fashion, our batch was the first one who used it and it's still the same uniform they use today, 10 years later...(wow I'm old)
