I feel like just putting an atm in the laundromat instead of card readers would be a better solution. We have card readers on our vending machines in our gym and they work great however in this scenario you could make money on atm fees instead of paying merchant processing fees on the readers. ATM would accomplish the same task in that there would be a solution for anybody that doesnt have cash on them at the moment. Just a thought

I wonder more about why there's no central (or even "per row") payment system for these machines. Having a single payment system instead of one on each and every machine should be much cheaper, even with the added complexity of a machine selector and controlling them all.

Sugar causes ice crystals to form less jagged edges and therefore it's less likely to cause damage to the can if the ice forms less sharp edges. The sugar free ones don't have the same effect.

Buy a dozen Z80 CPU's, keep them in an anti-static bag, and install a socket on the boards, you can swap them out. Z80's have a bad habit of going bad.

Hi Joey doubt you can help but a friend said I should at least try we live in New Mexico me my husband and our special needs son we have been homeless living in hotels for about 6 months now and even though my husband works two jobs we can barely make ends meet we were pushed out of our apt because the wanted to raise the rent from 1,300 to 1,800 and didn't renew our lease anyway we are low income and having problems finding a place because just to apply for places it's over 500.00 last time we applied didn't get the place because our credit is in the toilet from being homeless and living in hotels for 6 months not sure what you can do to help but we definitely need it

Sugar in the pop acts as an anti freeze of sorts. Freeze point and burst temp are lower than water / diet drinks.

Yes, but part of the reason to go to card washers is not needing to restock quarters, and not having individual washers full up either.
If it's merely about additional payment options, ATM is the way to go. But as stated before, the goal is to keep more quarters for longer.

I listen for the ring, we had a dozen silver quarters that way last year.
