I like to see video like this and it's have been a very long time since i ever been to one of these type of Marching Bands for a very very long time and this makes me feel so good when i see our beautiful black people out there doing it up and we are the best in everything that we do 👍
Drum Major from Berkmar H. S. is pretty good! Hope that you go and audition at some of the colleges/universities when you are destined to graduate. Band isn't bad either. Keep climbing!

I enjoyed this video, but have only one complaint. Too much time is spent dwelling on the drum majors and "honeys," sometimes so much so that the kids playing and marching are barely noticed. These organizations are called "bands." Please let see more of the kids marching and playing - they are the core of these organizations and deserve more attention. Thanks for the video.
I'm sorry as a Fellow Alabamian. From Alexander City Alabama and New Site Alabama. And my Military Background. When are the Conductors from Alabama State University and Alabama A&M University going to leave the 70s, 80s and early 90s alone. Y'all please STOP!! I'm an '83 baby and tired. Goodness
Classic music from the 70s 80s and 90s will always be apart of HBCU show bands of the south. If you notice all schools have it as a part of there catalogue even the high schools. These songs paved the way for a lot of the garbage we hear today that sample from classics. Sorry🤷🏽♂️
I get a kick from all the random people wandering among the band members as they're performing. I guess they're job is to pick up items that fall off the costumers or band instruments. It's like stagehands coming onstage during a performance and moving the furniture or just getting in the way.
Man I ride past New Manchester HS at least once a week and had no clue they were HBCU style lol. Then again the black population has exploded out here.
I got confused when A&M started to get in show band formation, they were like walking, running, marching do they not have a drill to line up in that formation? Why didn't the drum majors wait until they all got in place LOL.
