Thank you for this. I assume that this is part of an appreciation of Kate Mulgrew. What strikes me here is that, early on, Kate's character is critical of the "Gospel of St. James" at the center of all this -- and by the end, it turns out that she was right to mock it. Everyone should have listened to Kate, including David Janssen.
Actually, IT COULD BE. It's all a matter of who thinks they can make a buck off of either releasing the unedited series or simply waiting until they can get Top Dollar for it as a DVD or a Pay-For-Play item. It's all about MONEY.
