I am from bangladesh and my mother is from north bengal. Surprisingly after listening for a while, i started understanding your language though i don't know which language you are speaking. This little bit sounds like the dialect of my mother's home town Lalmonirhat which is near indian border .
And to be honest, very beautiful, creative and unique home. Please let me know which language you are speaking.

Thank you so much for your appreciation. We are speaking Assamese, it has similarities with bengali, almost adjoining states. Also, since we have moved around quite a bit as childrens, we speak a mix of it with Hindi and English at times. So it does not sound that alien to a first time listener.
