My parents are both in their 70s and have a multitude of health issues. When she mentioned the tree house with the bucket on a rope, I was taken back to my childhood for a bit. My parents were both healthy, we still had an active farm, and I had the whole world to explore. I spent many summer nights in my treehouse, overlooking my family's house, with the horse paddock behind it, reading Redwall and The Hobbit. I haven't thought about that old treehouse in a long time. the timing of this was so wonderful for me - i'm a florist, and this video dropped as i was sitting on the ground working on flowers for a friday the 13th wedding. i plugged in my headphones and pretended i was hanging out with coraline while i worked - it wielded some beautiful creations. thanks for creating such warm treasures for us all erin 🧡
Coraline is a neat story all of us go through especially at a young age when we find all that glitters is not gold and come to appreciate the everyday small facets of life we didn’t pay attention to before ;)
She really is the perfect person for capturing that coraline charm. I was worried this would be a little hard to watch because I don’t like roleplays that are out of character, but of course Erin would make a perfect coraline. Everything she said fit so naturally into the world of the movie/book that I can so easily imagine this being what coraline really does on her days off. (And once again I am here to ask for a bee and puppycat roleplay that I think Erin would just knock right out of the park. She has the exact vibe of the show!!)

Coraline is a wonderfully creepy animated movie and an excellent book. Neil Gaiman is an expert at stuff like that and he has many other weird worlds to dive into. This is a lovely interpretation of Coraline. Dropping lots of little nuggets of that world.
the part where we were looking through the stone was my favorite. the narration and visuals were incredible and I've never seen a trigger like that before.
I spent the evening in a loud bar where I played joyful music and laughed with amazing people, and yet the best part of th night is when I sneak in my bed, curl up in a cozy blanket and watch Coraline (not Caroline !!) play with my hair

Getting to see the Cat all happy and pet made me very happy as well It’s funny because his voice in the movie is so refined and regal, but he is a cat and was fine with being held and pet and stood on Wybie’s back. In the book his voice was so ethereal and mysterious. But he’s just a little guy, hehe! Poised and elegant but still a cat and a silly sweet little thing who loves attention :)
My sister and I used to watch Coraline every single day when we were kids (she even memorized all the lines), so it's one of my comfort movies for bad days.
