Yeah. And the teenager saying the mother wasn't real telling lies about being attacked and drugged. I liked the woman complaining about how much to put luggage in the hold and the security guy saying laptops out. Hahaha. And that's why Jason got dismissed for drinking. Oops.
The little girl's unexpected line just floored me! She put everything in that line and DELIVERED it. First time I've laughed out loud on SNL in a long while. 😂 That was a scene-stealer and I'm so glad it got through. And JAJ just let the line hit big. She lobbed it like a grenade.

When Jason flicked that wings pin at the camera with that smirk on his face, you could tell he was having so much fun just like he said he would.
That whole episode was elevated by the fact that the host was not only hitting his marks, reading the cards while acting at the same time (a rare feat on SNL these days) and enjoying the hell out of himself.
I like the dude. He did the damn thing.

Sadly, they didn't have a Christmas version, which is a shame, because the Kate McKinnon episode definitely would have benefited from it.

Oh yes. I do have a nice story at the airport of Schiphol a day before Christmas eve when my boyfriend broke up with me and gave me a ticket back home with a scale in NYC when I didn't have a visa. I was a spectacle crying while I was being interrogated by an air marshal (who made me call my ex right there) and people in the desk were trying to figure out my situation because everything was sold out. Lovely Christmas time.

Between this episode and last week with Chalamet, it just reminds you how much is brought to the show by the simple fact of a host who's clearly having a ball.
It also helps that the SAG-AFTRA strike ended the week of the Chalamet episode, so the show is now running on all cylinders. Though the first three episodes of the season weren't that bad: Pete Davidson did an okay job for a cast member least likely to come back as host, the Bad Bunny episode was elevated by the cameo appearance from Pedro Pascal, and the Nate Bargatze episode showed that SNL really needs stand-up comedians who aren't former SNL writers and cast members to host just like it did back in the 1970s and 80s.
This sketch was so perfect, they had most of the cast in it, they all nailed their lines. But openminded-permisive dad with a terrible daughter really won, i really have seen situations like that.

As someone in the hotel industry “woman with service animal she clearly doesn’t need” come in full force during the holidays. It’s these fools that ruin it for the actual service animal owners and give them a bad rap. You aren’t fooling anyone.
They should be labeled as “woman with fake service animal she registered online 20 min before arrival “
that is my main problem, there are many who need service animals for absolutely legitimate reasons. highly trained service animals who follow commands. but then there are so many selfish fools who simply want to take their untrained pats with them, this truly should be banned and the animals should be removed from those people.

It’s tough to call out the imposters. Even though fake service animals are easy to spot we can never do anything about it. On the slim chance we are wrong and it is a real service animal…..simply asking a *question* outside the legal list of appropriate questions to ask service animal owners, it could easily land us in a heap of trouble.
Also easy to tell because there’s no actual registration legally for a service animal. Emotional support animal? Sure. But for a service animal, there’s legally no federal registration and asking to see one is illegal.
I imagine some people with a service animal for "imaginary alopecia"
Oh my gosh yes. I have a friend with a seeing eye dog and those idiots make it so hard for her because people assume she is lying about needing the dog. She has had a Lyft leave her on the side of the road.
I was dying at the tsa saying the same thing over ,and over in a different way one it was too accurate.

I don't think any recurring SNL host has more fun than Jason Momoa. Dude is always having a blast, love how he doesn't mind making a fool of himself. He and Timothée Chalamet definitely need to be in the Five Timer's Club.

Man this skit was funny as heck. My favorite parts was Punkie as the lady wearing all those clothes to avoid paying baggage fees, Kenan as the TSA announcer, and that bad little kid. Man, this has been one heck of an episode so far! 😂😂😂
Baggage fees are literally a scam. They were supposed to be temporary during high fuel costs. Hm, yet they haven't ever gone away. Aka cash grab
@@kitcoffey7194 What's even worse is that these fees can only be paid with a charge card. Those that don't have one have to go to a nearby kiosk to turn their cash into a charge card. For a fee! It doesn't affect me, but it still upsets me.
It ain't the fees that would discourage me from checking bags if I flew; it's the possibility of lost luggage.
I did that flying Spirit from subzero Boston to Florida. Summer clothes, but wearing all of them at once.

No joke, I was on the plane today, so I was watching the episode using the in-seat screen, and when this skit started playing, JetBlue did their safety announcement and their unskipable commercials. Now THAT is true comedy.

YES!!!! If there was ever any doubt, it is confirmed, good writing has returned to Saturday Night Live. I had noticed that things have been especially great this season, and if there was any question about that in my mind, this sketch sealed the deal. Also, more sketches featuring child actors this season. Several bits have included children WITH speaking roles, but even the kids that weren't given any lines have NAILED their parts. Can you imagine how thrilled that young lady was to have the chance to go on LIVE national television and say, "Screw you, Bitch!" I know I would have been scared shitless, but she handled herself very professionally. Great sketch. I look forward to many more this wonderful Season 49.
