- Interview with SANTA CRUZ. Recorded before the band's concert at the legendary Viper Room in Los Angeles, California. Archie and Ero tell us how they founded SANTA CRUZ back in elementary school, and how it is for Ero to be part of the band again. We learn how Archie and the new guitar player Joe met at the Rainbow Bar on Sunset Strip, and what to expect from SANTA CRUZ's brand new album "Katharsis", that will be published on October 18th, 2019, during their US tour. Archie also reveals something really special for us... Recorded on October 5th, 2019 outside the Viper Room.
PLEASE NOTE:
Mathias Fau is not the new drummer of SANTA CRUZ. The new line up is: Archie Cruz (Guitar + lead vox), Joe Perez (Guitar), Ero Cruz (Bass), and Toxy Cruz (Drums).
Thank you for all your comments that helped to clarify the situation. We were told that the line-up had just changed, and that some new band members would be introduced during the interview. Mathias was introduced to us as the new drummer (and from what we have heard later he is a very talented drummer indeed), but his main function for SANTA CRUZ is to be a talented photographer. The joke of introducing him as the band's new drummer was not clarified as a joke after the interview. Nevertheless we all enjoyed the interview a lot, as you can see. We are looking forward to our next interview with SANTA CRUZ, and we will make sure that the line between facts and jokes will be drawn clearly then.

@@henrifin good to know. Joke or not, it's very confusing press nevertheless. You don't and you shouldn't give false info, especially in promo's, just because people like me do not know who this person was in advance. As a consumer, I should be clear who's in the band and what actually is going on if that's what they're sharing publicly
