@11:05 That kid had such a huge smile on his face and he was only there just to help you guys with the trash. Faith in Humanity does still exist. Stay humble everybody.
There are only a few channels I watch religiously because of the quality and variety of the content and the characters that form part of it. From the comfort of a couch in Cape Town, Parlay has become a channel that I look forward to every Sunday and I never miss it. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for the joy your channel brings. Love & light. ❤❤❤
You have hit the sweet spot on these videos. The perfect mix of live action, voice over, drone video, crew interaction. Honestly, these episodes are of better quality than about any media I follow. It's really just astonishing.
Colin, I can’t tell you how much I appreciate each and every episode’s you put together. Not only is the scenery extraordinary and the music choices you make exceptional, it’s the feeling I get from watching such a great crew. My travel days are well behind, so getting to be with you vicariously is truly an honor. Keep it up, I’ll watch forever.
The new locations and scenery every week never, ever, get old. Much respect for Britt's parents for going all that way to check out "boat life" in person! The way Colin barters with the locals, first rate and already looking forward to next week's episode.
Isa. This is such a feel good moment for those us watching, can't imagine how it must feel for you guys. Vinaka for blessing my the lad with a knife, that moment he will never forget and trust that that knife is just not for him but for all his spear fishing buddies.
I have been watching since two of you and an Islander local were cutting foam and glass to patch multiple holes in this boat. Taking treadgrip molds from a neighboring boat, lifting out flooded engines... Your content and videography has grown out of this world. Admiration
Seriously, your story telling, camera work and narration are just sensational! A wonderful mix of on land, on water and underwater. Truly magic, and when you've followed the journey from years of repair, simply magic!
"20 Years from now you will be more disappointed at the things you didn't do then by the things you did. So what are you waiting for?" Best Mantra Ever
Colin, the choice of music in your episodes is phenomenal. As a professional musician, I cannot applaud you enough for selecting such connected vibes in your background music. Much praise sir!
@@BrittanyAmodeo Sorry Britt, much praise. You take episodes to a elevated level with the music choice. I watch every week and the video improvement is certainly recognizable. And, I am Robert (Bob) and yes I have a slight (big) crush on you! Your Mom and Dad were so kool!
You guys have and spread amazing vibes. I welled up when I saw the look on the guys face when he was given the knife. I'm getting old, and I want to leave this world knowing there's hope for my children and grandchildren and everyone else on the planet. Your decency gives many people hope for that.
My days of hiking have passed yet the appreciation we have for Colin, to take us every week higher and higher and deeper into the beauty of nature can never be verbally associated with words. We love you BRO!
You guys rock, whenever I get down I just kick back and watch your channel. Your lifestyle has been my dream for 55 years. There was not the opportunity in my younger days and sadly now I'm getting too old at 74 years young. I have sailed and traveled a bit and been living on my boat for 8 years now . Your adventures bring a tear to my eyes. Thank you.
Such a fantastic episode! I've watched all of your episodes, and I love how every new anchorage is the most epic thing you've ever seen. I 100% believe you! The effort, heart, and soul you put into this channel are felt.
Thank you Parlay for bringing us with you. Brit i get quite emotional when i think of how much you bring to this channel and what you do without the recognition you so deserve. You are the glue that holds us spellbound at each weeks episode. For me you are the star of each episode and for us that can only dream , you enable us to be there. THANK YOU.
A recent follower and I’m so glad to be here. Living life as it’s meant to be lived. Embracing beauty and opportunity and sharing it with family and friends. This video was magic!
Four or five years ago, I stumbled upon your channel, and it's been an incredible ride ever since. As a fellow Kiwi, I'm inspired by your determination and accomplishments. After a brief hiatus (a few years), I've finally caught up on your journeys - circumnavigating New Zealand, crossing the Pacific... your feats leave me breathless. You and Jamie have shown me that chasing dreams is tangible. Your unwavering passion and resilience have ignited my own aspirations. I'm grateful for the motivation your channel provides. I'm eager to embark on my own adventure soon. My swallow tattoos are calling, and I hope to find my way onto a boat. Thank you, Colin (a true Kiwi legend), and the entire Parlay crew, for sharing your journey and inspiring countless others. Cheers to many more thrilling episodes!
I have watched you for a long time and rarely comment but I have to say living vicariously through you guys helps so much! I spent a majority of my weekends on the ocean for most of my life on my 36 foot trawler and various other boats on the coast of Vancouver. Sadly I had to move away from my beautiful coast line (but for good reason as I got to adopt my 2 sons) and am now in a wheel chair thanks to covid and the damage it did to my nervous system. I just sold my last ever boat an 18ft VIP with a cobra inboard last month to my niece and her husband. I took my last trip on my boat 2 yrs ago on the inlet to see the Orcas feast on the salmon run. It hurts to not be near the ocean but it kills me that I will never be out on the ocean again. Watching you and your crew experience ocean life gives me so much joy. I can't thank you enough for sharing your experience and I hope you always have red skies at night!
You guys are the best! I loved seeing the guy get that brand new knife and seeing the views up top that mountain and the manti rays. I can't imagine seeing what you guys all see.
Britt's beauty and adventerous soul is obviously generational. Colin, thank you for your generous heart and sharing your home and exceptional life every day with those you meet. ❤
"Living vicariously through your guests." Here I am sitting on a couch in Perth, WA (West Oz) doing the same watching you each week. Keep up the great work. Fair winds.
1:26 Cool channel Colin! I wish you were still on BDSY, I thought you did an awesome job overall on the series, you're a very good engineer and guy. I know you left the show of your own accord in order to do what's in your best interest. IMHO Gary should've got the axe, your part was way more important. You have scruples, which he does not, and nor do I believe he even knows the definition of them. Many fans will miss you for sure, myself being one of them. Happy sails and safe travels! 😊
Magical episode to fully immerse the senses; literally melts stress away! Especially those manta rays and dolphins ... wow. Britt and Colin your filming and editing skills are superb; award-winning worthiness!! 🥰💙🌊⛵
Great to see your young Partner (Taylor)again. Colin, I loved the look on that young guys face when you gave him the knife. Also great to see that you were visited by the talented Brit's Parents. They appeared to have a ball as well. When on Stradbroke Island are you going to have a good look at plans for you next boat (aluminum)?
There has been times with family and friends where I felt I would not want to be anywhere else with an overbearing feeling of happiness. I see Parlay giving that feeling to so many people on your trips and excursions. My hat is off to you. I envy you. Keep releasing excellent videos. Thank you all so much!!!!
What an amazing episode!! So glad your crew got to dive with Mantas! My wife and I got to do a night dive with at least a dozen mantas off Kona, Hawaii, in February of this year. It was the most incredible dive of my life!! Such majestic creatures!
The videography is always great, but tonight’s adventure was spectacular with the locations and the crew and parents having such a great time. See ya next week.
Amazing episode. Love the filming, narration, music, and joy in each episode. This one was incredible with those manatee shots. That trek up the mountain cliff was beautiful, but admittedly, all I was saying to myself was .... Holy shit... don't fall!
⚓I've just about sailed all around the world, swam with so many amazing fishes, climbed the highest mountains and all ...without leaving my comfy couch🥰 much luv n prayers from new zealand🥝
Louie, it's not just that life is short, it's also that the old body starts giving out before you're ready. The Chosen One was epic, but sailing or whatever quickly gets harder. 😢😢😢
I was fortunate enough to do that hike in 2016. The Octopus Resort is fantastic, and the village is extremely friendly. I remember giving out chocolates to the kids as it was Easter at the time. Epic stuff!
As I watched you sailing and then swimming with the Manta rays I wished I could join you! Then you climbed that ridiculous mountain and I thought this is why I do all this vicariously through your videos. You are taking me places I would never have been able to visit. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
Colin & the Crew ⛵ I can't thank you enough for your weekly Parlay Revival update videos.❤ I so look forward to Sundays to get the latest updates & videos of the incredible places that you go & people You meet. At almost 70 I do live vicariously through you. Your videos have given me something to think about other than another approaching Hurricane 🌀. This one I fear will be the final knockout punch. We have been beat to death ☠️ within these last 8 weeks with two other Hurricanes 🌀. It started with Hurricane Debbie in August. It wasn't supposed to be that much of a threat but it bitch slapped us with the massive outer bands. Now The last one Hurricane Helene 🌀was just a week ago. Its deadly damage has been felt throughout Florida & the southeast. I just got my power back on + my fence back up. We still haven't completed our clean up on everything. The sewage plants are overflowing into the Gulf of Mexico. Now we're awaiting Hurricane 🌀 Milton in a couple of days. It's now going to be a direct hit on the Tampa Bay area but it covers all of Florida. We have already lost all of our beaches with Hurricane 🌀 Debbie & Helene. So now the water will just come into the cities. I already had fish in my backyard & through the sewers & in the roads last time. I live 20 minutes away from the Gulf. So I am asking Please for your help with prayers 🙏 You reach a large audience. We need every prayer we can get here in Florida. Thanks so much for listening 🎧. ❤ Fingers crossed 🤞 for a Miracle 🍀🙏❤
That song playing about the 6:30 mark is Mattias Tell's 'Trippin All Over You.' You used his Venetian Blinds song a few times before and Colin told me Mattias name. Mattias sent this guitar player and singer the lyrics. His Venetian song is a masterpiece in my ears.
Wow guys! This was absolutely amazing. The view, the crew, the sushi, dolphins swimming at the bow, a beach braai, and Manta Ray. What more could one ask for on such a cruise.
I normally cannot watch more than a 20 minute video, but I find myself wanting more from your channel. Your vidoes are top notch and keep in engaged, looking forward to each week.
Colin and Jamie, especially, is there a day that goes by that you don't wake up with a bemused smile and think "is this real ?" ? Onwards, never stop 👍
G'day Crew,, Great vid Colin. Love the interaction with the islanders, shows people at their best ,being loving and giving towards our fellow man / woman ,, there's nothing greater . Respect....!

I donnnnnn wanna wait a week. So cool, great episode.... BRITT you're such a pro, it shows. Love every episode, but this was a fun one. Can't wait for next week.
Hey Colin ....now that you are around Fiji, check out for the Sv cargo ship Kwai . Would be a great story to mention. They are the only sailing cargo vessel delivering all the goodies for the Marshall Islands.
Another fantastic episode!!! Some of the things that you have happen around the people you encounter brings me to tears!! I love it!! Thanks for sharing!!!!

Also watching from Cape Town
Agree, it is absolutely one of my top 2 favs. Delos is the other. So excited you will meet up with them. What a fantastic view from the top of Figi.
Parley and the canadians 😊 they represent us the best way possible. Thank's 😅

Great episode guys! Nice to see Britt’s parents onboard. I would have known it was Britt’s mom just by listening to them!
Love the channel, no superficial bait crew, no fake stuff, just pure joy to watch.
That was one chilled episode, presenting that knife to that young man and his gratitude was beyond words 😊
Well done everyone ✨🫡
