I loved this study! You did a good job utilizing the commentaries. That first one sounds good. Like you, I had always thought of Abraham times as being like Flintstones until I studied archeology. Yesterday I had looked over what I noted from reading Mark and what stood out was doing it all for God not self. Heveanly over earthly. I just want God to think I’m great. 😊 I’m so ready for the new heaven! Jesus come soon! God has promised me his presence and I’m grateful for that. He is calling me to “just keep clinging” to Him despite my fears and emotions. Hold onto Him and let Him lead.
Thank you. I love that. I wonder if those who struggle with ill health and pain in this world have a deeper longing for Heaven. It certainly makes me think about it more.
This was great Lou! I have the Bible Knowledge commentary which has been really useful (esp as I'm not in/have been in Bible College and have limited money)! These commentaries sound really good!
Yes. Commentaries and any theological books can be really expensive. I'm finding these two helpful so far 😃
