U of M study links bad habits to bad grades

  • A University of Minnesota study has found that students with bad habits, like smoking and not getting enough sleep or exercise, often have bad grades. This is the first study to link the two.

    Very interesting study. Good idea to go to bed early although I don't know how many college students would really embrace that. Definitely some food for thought! Thanks!

    I get around 7 hours of sleep every night, I have studied a total of around 5 hours this entire year, my GPA is 3.715. I completely disagree that bad habits will lower people's GPA.

    more responsible people sleep more, take better care of their body, because they have a better idea of long term effects.
    this is an economic correlation, not a statistic one.
