1991 Ibanez RG550's Reverb Find New Guitar Day USA Custom?

I scored this sweet Ibanez RG550 from Reverb recently. I wanted one like my brothers that I used to play live years ago. This one popped up and it shows me again that Ibanez really made the best guitars for the time. Also played is the Mark Tremonti PRS MT15.

Your brothers guitar looks a bit Frankenstein. Wrong neck and knobs for sure. Your recent purchase looks good except that pick guard (thickness as you mentioned).

I really like them. They're pretty perfect for tight and punchy sounds. But they also back off nice.
