Anw, I have been working in agency for 6 years towards teaching ielts. During the versant test, I answered them properly but why the result is totally different with my ielts band score achievement. Hi there. There might be different factors that could have affected your results. Sometimes the mic we use can have an impact in our score. Once I did it we headsets, and I performed poorly, later I realized that mic was not working properly. Sometimes if your internet connection is not reliable, it can cause issue while recording your answers. Finally, if you answer Immediately after the prompt, it might just partially record the answer, and then mark it as wrong. Don't let this setback disappoint you. At the end of the days tests only assess your performance once, not your actual knowledge.
First of all, you need to purchase the versant test on the Pearson's website. Once you do that, you will receive the Test Identification Number (TIN) thru an email.
I think it's highly recommended in order to listen to the audio. Additionally, earphones or headsets have a built-in mic that catches the sounds properly.
