@@orozcocris93 well these are for adults, not kids! lol 😆 I have a lot of parents that I’ve sold these too! I actually have 4 orders I need to try and do this week actually! Good little side hustle, but if you don’t have the knots perfect, the bearing starts to slip out, I would def say I’m a pro at tying these puppies!

Take a look at 'poi' spinning. You can derive a lot of motions from that.
In particular the 2 and 3 beat weave aswell as 'long arm extensions'(for some extra momentum and body synergy.
The weaves use 2 'weapons' and will be more like a pair of nunchucks in the sense of threat level towards your opponent

My buddy and I made monkey fist knots in Afghanistan. Using a 1" ball bearing for ours. When we would have to escort or control the hajji's from or on our aircraft the monkey fist knots were the best tool to use on an hajji when ever they started to get combative. NSDQ!!!!!!

Mine is way shorter, including ball to the loop at end, it's only about 10 inches. Do the same moves apply, and is it a better thing, or should I have some more length added? I'll be carrying mine as a way to protect myself when out walking. I am an older female and really need to learn self defense, I am at the beginning of my journey. Thank you

@@JulieHolcomb same technique should apply, NOTE: length, weight play a big part in how it responds, I would still use the same “idea” to stay safe so that you don’t hit your self!
My advice as a Sensei is always “practice”

This is great stuff. I recently made a fist using a 2in beechwood bearing because it's getting pretty wild around here so it's nice to have some insurance. Really looking forward to more of these because if my kids or I get attacked, the last thing I wanna do is wreck myself on the attackers' behalf lol

Glad I could help any! Training is subjective always! I tell my students all the time, just because I show you a technique doesn’t mean it ALWAYS works, situations are different, circumstances provide unique experiences, and train train train!
