Thanks for this strat. I was able to get my first hard Amius kill a few minutes ago, I didn't completely understand the fight before so I was struggling but you did a good job explaining the mechanics in a way that was easy to comprehend.

Thanks for the video and explaining all the mechanics. I knew most of it, but that the A1 target will always be the one with lowest HP was new for me. I thought I had to wait for free gear removal again (1 hour is not enough for Amius usually), but you talking about Gnut and how we don't even need heal reduction made me just throw in some champs and I beat him without regearing, speed tuning or hp-tuning anything. Gnut MVP.

I HAVE A PROBLEM! Everything works for me except when he is in alternate form and only hp burn and heal reduction is on him, sometimes he goes A2 when he switches, but other time he goes A3 and puts heal and completely heals himself. I dont understand. Is there some other rule for how many buffs are on my champs? I cant figure it out. It is not consistent as in your run. Do you have any idea??

Block healing is so important I find, used Archbishop Pinthroy this time around
Hey! I've been trying to smack this guy with my Mithrala-VarGaal combo (the best I have tbh). The issue is that even if I never use decrease attack or hex (just poisons from mith A1, Amius will STILL flip the heal reduction.
This is on normal mode, but I've run through several cycles now with JUST health reduction and poisons, and amius flips the heal reduction first (his A3), then uses the big heal (A2). This makes it very hard for me as Var Gaals heal reduction is only a 30% proc on A1...

I think you know this boss only 95%. Followed all the instruction, adding Aniri to the duo because my venomage is only 4 stars: sometimes when he flips he decides to do A3 instead of A2, and I only had health reduction and poison and burn and smite... I also change masteries of Venomage cuz sometimes he did health reduction to 4turns, and I thought it was that the cause for Amius to start with A3 in the normal cycle. As soon as he has a 3turn heal it's a giveup for me. What did I do wrong? Aniri is my tank and she is getting the A1.
Are there any other triggers for Amius to do his stun instead of his A2?
follow up: I gave up the "strategy" and did it with: Pythion(3*), Aniri(5*), Artak(5*brimstone), Gnut(3*) and Doompriest(2*) in auto, 285 turns, 7minutes.. This boss is too much non-sense to have fun with it, I found it very stressful I cannot fathom How you enjoy it

Does this still work? Amius just turns my prevent heal into a heal and increases the turn of it, then heals like crazy back to full.
They definitely fixed this. The block heals does not go away anymore, and he converts it on the next skill.
Have you figured out why sometimes amius goes directly A1 on the alternate?

I somehow muddled my way through hard Amius using Cardiel, Martyr, 2x Gnut, and Vrask. My first run beating this rotation was with one Gnut and Artak, but my burns weren't placing consistently
