Our bulldog mix literally vacuums his food no chewing at all, he eats his food under 50 seconds. I can’t wait for his bowl to come in

I got my first dog 5 months ago & she's about 3yo. Glad to know there are other speed-eaters out there. I got the orange bowl like this one (the pattern is different). I highly recommend. It really helps slow her down. Now I need to find something like this for me.😄

That’s fast?! My dog eats all her serving in like 10 seconds. I turn around and when I turn back she’s already and furiously licking the crumbs off her plate.
haha so realistic, the same for my corgi. Then I got this " Slow Feeder Dog Bowls Heavy Duty " (search term on amazon.com) for my corgi and finally it helped my corgi eat in 10 minutes.
Yeah, her dog was pretty average if not slower than average (at 1min30secs) eating from a standard bowl. My pibble at home cleans her bowl (1 3/4th cups) in 30 seconds.
I take care of a bunch of different dogs at my job for boarding and I've seen dogs clear bowls like this in 10 or less seconds. Fastest I've ever seen was a big lab suck down 2 1/2 cups in 3.5 seconds. Fucking crazy lol

SLOW FEEDERS ARE EXCEPTIONAL! I wasn’t expecting to see much of a difference but my new puppy would swallow his food so fast and it would cause him to bloat and vomit after eating. I recently got him a slow feeder bowl. I gave my puppy the same portion of food but now since it is spread out on the new bowl he ate at a much slower pace.
I’m trying to find the clip where the dog throws the bowl so that his food is spread across the floor and he eats it as fast as possible anyway.
My dog eats a cup of hydrated kibble in a regular bowl of 1 minute, I timed him with the purple slow feeder and it takes him about 5 minutes!
Success!!! Wow . Bet dog enjoys it more. Easier on digestion and more fun to eat in this way.
My dog eats her food under 30 seconds , she’s still a pup, 6 months old , I got her the small bowl to hopefully train her to slow down with her eating ! Can’t wait for it to get here

My corgi used to eat so fast that he got fat. Then I bought him this " slow feeder dog bowls heavy duty " ( search term on amazon )and the bowl effectively helped him eat as slowly as 8 minutes and lose weight successfully.
That is not possible, eating slower doesn't reduce calories in food, you must have fed less, or they had less bloat, not a weight lose

My dog does not chew, she just swallows. It was one of my concerns because i have 3 dogs and she refuses to eat to the point where because she is so fluffy that she had lost a lot of weight.
Thanks for posting this, dogs really need to spend more time eating, just like humans if you eat fast you don't feel like you ate anything. dogs need to chew and I have to give him a treat toy after he eats to keep him satisfied.
I wonder how long it would take a person to eat cereal or popcorn from it, no hands allowed of course.

Your dog is a little slower with the big bowl than mine but we gave the same problem. Im trying to slow my dog down to avoid the stomach flipping.
Problem now is hes smashing the bottom of his jaw on the maze bowl and its all raw. He eats wet food. Seems like everything I try he finds a way to make it worse. 110 American bully
Seems to me he ate almost as quickly in the slow bowl and he did in the standard one, for MOST of it.........it took so long for him to chase the little bits toward the end, in the slow feeder bowl. It was only towards the end that he slowed down.

Jan 2021. These things are great. My boxer doesn’t even chew. 1 minute she is done but with new bowl 10 minutes!!!! I had to get over it at first cs she seemed, or I thought, frustrated an I felt bad. But now few days later she is calmly eating her food an I get no more side eye..... stay safe out there fellow humans. Be the light in all u do! Texas here. Go Biden/Harris. I have a great dane age 7 and she swallows her food without chewing. So for christmas I'm going to buy her one of this bowls... I'm scared since she's old now that her stomach turns upside down, so it's time to get her that bowl. As a pupper she ates slower, it's this year that she's starting to inhale the food, while the other dog looks at her with an expression that clearly says "You have zero manners"

Extremely interesting.You may know, dogs eat fast or try to as if they are in a pack as in a pack dogs are naturally greedy and want to get their fair share before any other in the pack so therefore it goes back to instinct.

First method would be too add some warm water. Helps make the aroma spread.
Other options to try (pending allergies) would be dog food sprinkles or cheese sprinkles.
If that doesn't work. Try other brands of food. Maybe mix in some wet dog food.
Some doggos are just super picky. It's common. May just take a while to find out what you need to get them to eat. Just make sure it's not dangerous. Also refrain from human food as best you can and what ever you do, don't do fast food lol

your dog honestly doesnt even need a slow feeding bowl as that is a big breed and pretty normal, my dog hes 4 months hes great berneese plus great pireneese and he literally gulps it doewn and im not being dramatic he actually does to much and ends up finishing in 26.6 seconds i put on a timer for him, we are planning on getting him a slow feeder becaues of this, he ends up throwing it up sometimes becaues he eats faster than 26 seconds sometimes and even tries stealing goldy's food my golden retriever purebred which is his sister

Slow feeders a great. But usually for dogs that are inhaling their meals in 5, 10,15, 30 seconds. Not 1 minute 30 secs +. That's actually average if not slightly slower than average.
